Taiga stood as Ryuuji tried his best to clean up her cuts.
She tried to hold back her tears that were starting to well up in her eyes
"Stop it, I told you I don't need your help."
"Well I'm helping anyway okay?"
"..."
Ryuuji looked up at her face, and she quickly looked away before he saw the tears in her eyes
"Are you going to tell me who did this" He enquired
"I already told you, nobody!" She shouted. She couldn't stop the tears from rolling down her face.
Ryuuji quickly stood up and looked down at her face, with the visible drops streaming down. He stepped closer and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry" he whispered.
"Don't be.." she replied coldly.
They stayed like that for a couple minutes, until Ryuuji stepped back and looked at her.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked
"Yeah"
He nodded, not believing her.
"I'll stay here tonight, okay?" He told her
"You don't have t-,"
"I will." The conversation ended there.

Minori walked back from the diner at 9pm. She'd gone separate ways from Kitamura and Ami, and was lost in her thoughts as she walked across the street towards her home.
She didn't know why Taiga had left so suddenly, or why Ryuuji had gone after her. All she knew was something weird was happening.
As she drew closer to her own home, a blast of the autumn wind blew her face.
"Its so beautiful" she thought as she looked around the drive, leaves scattering everywhere.
She walked into her house, with a warm greeting from her mother and her little brother.
"Minorinnnnnnn!" Her brother shouted as he ran over to her.
"Hey honey, Chicken for dinner tonight yeah? Her mother told her
"That's fine" She smiled.
"Your father is working late tonight, so he will be getting something on the way home"
"Okay"
Minori headed upstairs to her room to call Taiga, but after 5 attempts she gave up. She wasn't answering. She tried Ryuuji's phone and got the same result
"Seriously" she muttered under her breath. "What's wrong with everyone today?"

Kitamura walked his usual route back home, until he turned a corner that led to Ryuuji's place. He wanted to know what had made him and Taiga leave so suddenly earlier.
The lights were all off in Ryuuji's house, which was unusual. It was only 9pm. Surely he would still be awake?
Kitamura knocked on his close friends house and waited for the door to open. No answer. He knocked again to be greeted with silence. Sighing, he turned around and started heading to Ami's house. He needed to talk to someone about what had happened today, maybe Ami would know?

As soon as Ami opened her bedroom door, she flopped down on the bed. She was sure the others were thinking the exact same thing as she was. Why had Taiga left so quickly? And why had Ryuuji followed so suddenly? Was there something going on between them. She laughed slightly at the thought. Although she loved Ryuuji, And she knew Ryuuji loved Minori, she felt Taiga and him would end up together no matter what. She hates to admit it but... they were a good match.
She sighed, and was about to drop off to sleep in her clothes and makeup, when she heard a knock on the door. She drowsily got up out of bed to see who it was. When she opened it, her childhood friend Yūsaku Kitamura's face appeared in front of her.
"Ugh, what do you want?" She asked sleepily.
"Do you think Taiga and Ryuuji were acting weird today?" He asked her.
"Obviously, what do you thinks happening?" She said
"No idea. I just called at Ryuuji's place and he wasn't in."
"Maybe he's at Taiga's?"
"Maybe.."
