Chapter one
----
"William! Would you please hurry up!You'll be late!" I could barely hear my mothers screaming over my lack of sleep, it becomes a habit when your expected to maintain a grade point average of a 4.0. Everything more but nothing less.
Reluctantly I pulled the warm comforters away from my body, only to be greeted by the harsh chilly-ness of my bedroom. It's because of this I never want to leave my bed.
"William!" My overbearing mother yelled my name again.
"Working on it!" I screamed back as I pushed myself off my bed and shoved my feet into my house slippers, to keep my feet warm while walking my hard wood floors.
Walking into my closet I flipped on the light switch and pulled down one of my freshly iron pressed uniforms straight from the cleaners.
I was extremely grateful at times like these wear am to tired to pick out a appropriate outfit, that my school has an extremely strict dress code. The uniforms themselves weren't all that comfortable but hey, it's only seven hours.
Unbuttoning my blue silk pajamas, I threw them into my Landry hamper for Reeda to wash while I was at school.
I put on my school issued uniform, quickly slipped off my slippers for my recently shined and polished dress shoes, and perfectly tied my tie in a matter of a few seconds.
I had already rolled on some deodorant and sprayed a hit of cologne. After brushing my hair and teeth, I rushed downstairs to eat an already prepared breakfast.
I nodded my head at the woman with big brown bouncy curls leaning over the sink, finishing washing my fathers already eaten off of plate.
"Good morning, Reeda."
She turned around to see me before speaking, "Good morning, master William, how are you this fine morning?" She politely asks me with a wide tooth smile.
"Fine fine, thank you for asking." I wave her off with a smile as I turn myself toward the spread of pancakes, hash browns, over easy eggs with humus. Freshly squeezed orange juice that was freshly picked from my mothers garden, that was obviously Maintained by someone without a dirt phobia, along with fresh grapes.
My stomached growled and my mouth watered at the mere sight of it. Quickly I dug into my meal before taking out my phone.
In bright white numbers it read, '5:30'. "Oh! Well I need to be going if am going to make that early student council meeting." I left my dishes for Reeda as I prepared to leave.
"Okay then, have a good day master William." Reeda had said as I pushed in my chair, grabbed my satchel my mother had boughten me while at one of her meetings in Paris, and my car keys to my BMW.
Quickly buckling my seat belt and starting the ignition, I started off my drive to Artfeld Union Academy.
-----------------------
I pulled into my usual parking space, grabbed my satchel and keys, and made my way to my classroom, after locking my car of course.
The thing about Artfeld Union Academy is that, being the top private school in the district takes patience. So when the schools director noticed how successful schools in Japan were, he applied there structure here.
We don't get as many days off as most schools, especially public ones, and speaking of which we don't have different rooms to attend. Instead we go to one class for all seven hours, not including lunch. Though our lunch is shorter than most schools. Our homework is doubled and we're lucky that were even allowed a prom.
