Two days have passed since the U.S.J. Incident. Iida is currently yelling for everyone to get in their seats for homeroom, even if they all already are. Soon Aizawa enters the classroom, all bandaged up with some of the students worried for him to be back so soon. He talks about the sports festival for a bit before changing the subject.

"I know it's a bit weird in the year to be getting new students, but-," Aizawa tried to explain before being interrupted by the door slamming open.

"Hello!" practically yells a girl excitedly as she enters the classroom. Even without shouting, she could easily stand out with her rich, dark brown skin and her long, straight hair that starts purple and fades into light pink Her long eyelashes make her bright lavender eyes stand out and match her thick, pouty lips that had a bit of gloss.

Aizawa sighs, not having much energy to say something to the new student. "My name's Yoshino Azalea, but you can call me Azalea. I'm half Japanese, but I've lived here all of my life. I enjoy sports, video games, and shopping. I was originally going to enter normally with you guys, but I broke a bunch of my bones when doing a dare," she introduces herself in a cheerful tone. Midoriya quietly mutters something about the two new desks in the back; Kaminari mentions something about being in love, Bakugou doesn't care, Mineta whispers his inappropriate thoughts, but the class atmosphere generally seems cheerful and calm.

"That will be your seat," Aizawa pointed to the desk behind Rikidou. "If you need to catch up, you can ask one of your classmates." With that, Azalea happily skipped over to her seat.

"Aren't you going to come in?" asks Aizawa, sounding like he already wants to sleep as he turns to face the door. The rest of the class followed his gaze to see another girl coming in. She too also stood with her caramel skin color that looked slightly pale and with the dark circles under her dark red eyes. Even though her face showed signs of lack of sleep, nothing looked sloppy, like her braid that didn't have a hair out of place except for the scars. A total of five deep scars ran across her face, faded, and from one corner to another. The only thing that would help her blend in with a crowd was her lack of height.

She sighs in what seems to be an annoyance, similar to Aizawa, before speaking, "My last names are Espinoza Vasquez, and my first name is Mara, and I'd prefer to be called by my first name. It's not because I want to be friendly with any of you guys, but because I don't want you to butcher my name. There are many things I hate, and one of them is socializing. That's it." With that, she turns to look at Aizawa expectantly, and her hands seem to be fidgeting a bit. The entire class is quiet, and the atmosphere is entirely different from before.

Even Aizawa felt a little unsettled at the sudden atmosphere change but tried his best to ignore it. "Your seat is the empty one in the back, and if you need to catch up, ask the class president," Aizawa briefly explains before Mara walks towards her seat.

After Mara sits down, the atmosphere becomes less tense, and soon everyone starts to talk among themselves. Mineta gives a wink towards Azalea, and she flips him off. The other girls and some of the guys laugh at Mineta's stunned face before he turns towards the front with his head down.

The rest of the day went on as usual, and Azalea quickly integrated herself with the rest of her classmates. Between classes, everyone was now more focused and excited about the sports festival. Azalea was equally excited and joined her new friends for lunch. The only person that didn't seem even interested was Mara, and she wasn't even interested in talking with anyone in the class and was focused on her phone.

"Um, Mara. Would you like to join us for lunch?" asked Uraraka a bit nervously. Midoriya and Iida were standing on either side of her; Midoriya was visibly nervous while Iida looked at Mara expectantly.
