I woke up to my phone ringing the next day so I reached over & said "Hello.." Niqo: "Wassup shawty." I sat up and my eyes got wide then I said "Niqo??" Niqo: "Yeah 😂 Why you sound so surprised?" Me: "I just haven't talked to you in a minute.. I didn't know you still had my number either." Niqo: "I forgot I had it until I was goin thru some messages the other day." Me: "So why you call.." Niqo: "I was tryna see if you and Des wanted to come to a party today." Me: "I got work." Niqo: "It ain't gon be durin the day." Me: "Oh.. Who's house is it at?" Niqo: "Mine." Me: "Mm... I'll think about it." Niqo: "Ight. Des said he's gon be goin." Me: "Okay. What about Jay and Jordyn?" Niqo: "Jay's goin, ion know bout JoJo." Me: "Mm." Niqo: "I just thought I'd letchu know."

Me: "You coulda texted it 😂" Niqo: "I did & yeen answer." Me: "You couldn't wait?" Niqo: "Hell naw, I gotta know how many mfs gon be there. It's a simple ass phone call anyway ma 🤣 Yeen gotta be like dat." Me: "Like what?" Niqo: "I feel like you tryna avoid me again. Nobody gotta know about da shit we did a few months back but like I said, yeen gotta start treatin me different & actin weird." Me: "I'm not tryna avoid you Niqo.." Niqo: "Ight den. Dat party's startin at 9 so lemme know if you comin or not before then." Me: "Okay." Niqo: "Ight imma hit you later." Me: "Bye." I hung up and sighed then I rubbed my face and got up. I went in the bathroom and washed my face then I brushed my teeth & went back in my room. I got a text so I looked down and seen "Good morning beautiful"

I smiled and called Desmond then I waited on him to answer. Zoey: "Hi!" Me: "Hi Zoey. Where's Uncle Des?" Zoey: "Talkin to Mommy. You wanna talk to him?" Me: "Yes please." Zoey: "Okay. Des! Uncle Desmond!" I heard Desmond's voice in the background then Zoey said "Simone" Desmond: "Hello?" Me: "Hi." Desmond: "Wassup ma." I smiled and said "Niqo tell you bout dat party?" Desmond: "Yeah I was gon ask you if you wanted to go wit me." Me: "I guess I'll go.." Desmond: "Bet. You got work today?" Me: "Unfortunately." Desmond: "Damn." Me: "It's not that many people tho, I can prolly knock em all out early depending on whether Jordyn shows up or not." Desmond: "I was gon come over." Me: "You still can if you want."

Desmond: "Nah ion wanna be inna way." Me: "Well I'll have a lil break around 1 so you can come around then if yeen busy." Desmond: "Bet." Me: "What all you got planned for today?" Desmond: "Well imma be watchin Zoey for a few hours til around noon then I ain't gon have shit to do for the rest of the day." Iesha: "Hey Simone!" Desmond: "Go on somewhere 😒" I laughed and said "Tell her I said hey." Desmond: "She don't fuck witchu like det." Me: "Stop lyin 😭" Desmond started laughing then he said "I'm fuckin witchu. She said hey" Me: "You a mess." Desmond: "Mama wants her? Zoey you wanna stay here or go wit Nana? Ight... Ion gotta watch Zoey no mo." Me: "Well ion got no clients comin in for another hour & a half, you wanna come over?" Desmond: "Yeah bet. Imma go wheneva they get there." Me: "You don't have to 😭"

Desmond: "I know but I just feel like imma be inna way." Me: "You won't be 🙄" Desmond: "Whateva mane 😂 Imma be onna way to yo crib in a few minutes." Me: "Ight, be safe." Desmond: "I will. Bye" I hung up and smiled then I got up and got dressed. I texted Jordyn to ask her if she was coming over then I stuffed my phone in my back pocket and went downstairs. There was a knock about 30 minutes after I got off the phone with Desmond so I went over to the front door and opened it. Desmond was standing on the porch with something behind his back so I said "Whatchu got?" He smiled and handed me a bouquet of pink roses then he kissed my cheek and stepped inside. Me: "Aw.. Why you get me these?" Desmond: "Just cus." I shut the door and smiled then I looked at the roses and said "They're pretty. Thank you."

I sat the flowers on the counter in the kitchen then I pulled Desmond near me and kissed him. I put my arms over his shoulders and kept kissing him then he laughed and said "You good?" Me: "Mhm" I ran my hands down his chest and smiled then I said "You look good today" Desmond: "I'm half ass dressed 😂" Me: "You still look good." Desmond: "You just think anything look good." Me: "Cus you do." He laughed and kissed me softly then I said "I ain't had somebody buy me flowers before." Desmond: "Word?" Me: "Mhm." Desmond: "You be fuckin wit some lame ass niggas 🤣" I started laughing then I said "I'm fuckin witchu doe." Desmond: "I ain't lame." Me: "Mm." Desmond: "I'm not. I'm here to break yo lame nigga cycle." I smiled and shook my head then I went back to setting up for the clients. Jordyn got to my house about 20 minutes later  & she said "Simone I got a question." Me: "Wassup?" Jordyn: "Did they tell you bout dat party tonight?"
