Y/n was quietly searching for an Inn, when she heard footsteps approaching fast.
"Ma'am!" Armin said loudly
Y/n turned around and smiled softly
"Yes? and please call me Y/n."
"I'm sorry about the captain." Armin said shyly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"You came rushing here to tell me that?" she crossed her arms with an amused face
"Well, that's not the only reason " he paused "I wanted to invite you to stay at my place, I have an extra room, food, water and - " Y/n cut him off as she grabbed his hand
"Yes, I would love to stay at your place. It's closer to my team, I assume you stay on the compound, right?" she said as she started walking, her hand still in Armins nether letting go.

(Levi's Compound)
"Captain, I hear someone outside" Sasha said as she put down her bread.
Everyone got up and went to check it out.
"Maybe it's just Armin or Hange or both?" Connie suggested as Levi opened the door
"It's Armin alright" Levi said with disbelief dripping in his voice
"And he's not alone" Jean said as his jaw dropped.
They watched as a fiery red-haired woman and a blonde-haired man, walked hand in hand.

Having what seemed like a fun conversation, they watched as they turned down Armin's road.
"wow...... did we see the same thing?" Eren said as he turned towards the rest of the team
"Armin and " Jean trailed off
"Y/n" Mikasa said with a worried look on her face.
"Captain? Are you alright?" Sasha asked as she watched him stare off in the direction, they disappeared.
"Yeah, just surprised is all. She is not usually that friendly" he paused "not even with me" Levi turned and walked away, feeling happy about Y/n having fun for the first time since she left seven years ago.
Mikasa jogged towards Levi and gently grabbed his wrist.
"I just have one question" she said with worry
"Go ahead" Levi said having a slight idea of what she wanted to ask
"Maybe I'm being overprotective, but will Armin be okay? I'm not saying she's that kind of person, but it's Armin" before she could continue, Levi softened his gaze and grabbed her hand
"With her by his side, he will be fine. Even though he doesn't need protecting, she will always be there. It doesn't matter how far she is, she will be there for him. Maybe I should've been different with how I handled our situation." Levi said the last part more to himself than to her, he let go of her and walked away.
