Face in his hand as he leans on his elbow, the silver haired demigod peers down at the blonde from within his home in the clouds. His cheeks grow light pink as he watches the mortal do everyday tasks.

Forgetting his own duties by watching the mortal do his became an almost everyday occurrence. He's tasked with arranging the clouds to perfectly hold rain or to allow Emperor Sol to peek through.

A water droplet falls from above him as a reminder to keep on with his work. Lord Imber is coming to pass on this area tonight.

He waits for nightfall every day, so he can watch as his mortal gazed at his stars, so he can hold his face with the wind, so he can warm his mortal's face on those cold winter nights just to make sure he stays underneath his gaze.

The mortal's star covered face gleamed in the light of Empress Lunae. No being nor god can compare to his mortal; dare he say the simple being can compare to Lady Vernus. His mortal's eyes light up when looking at his artwork, eyes darting from star to star.

Every star is a piece of him, every white dwarf and neutron are his creations, every black hole and supernova are of his doing. ever since he had laid his eyes on his mortal, he puts his heart and very soul into his art. Making sure his mortal looks up at his creations, looks up at him, in awe.

red giants and red dwarfs shine bright to convey his adoration for the mortal; blue stragglers, sprinkled from the core of his heart, sparkle to catch his attention.

with the stars death comes his, and he'd trade his own life just to see the look on his mortal's face as bright colors swirl in the night sky.

"Sir. Astrum and current holder of Wind?"

shit.

"Lord Imber. I didn't know you were passing by this area so soon." He bows his head in respect, the Lord's face looks as dull as always, especially with his wife, Lady Eurus, missing and replaced by some demigod

"My wife was flawless in her work, never late nor early, not a cloud out of place. She did her duty beautifully, the clouds would flow and dance with her."

He turns away only for a moment, hiding his face.

"But ever since her disappearance, the clouds have never been as perfect." The upper god sighs, The loss of his wife must have been hitting hard, he never changes his expression around others.

The lower god lowers his head, "I apologize my Lord." Anything other than an apology would lead to his demotion. "Lady Eurus was incomparable, I'm afraid my work will never be as beautiful as hers."

Lord Imber winces at his use of "was" and sighs, "Nevertheless, allow me to continue my work." He raises his hand to signal droplets to fall from my clouds. The lower god watched as his territory was soon soaked with the work of another. He watched as a droplet touched his mortal's cheek, and soon another, until the mortal retreated from the now closed window.

Lord Imber walks across my clouds and every step he takes makes it rain harder down below. "Goodnight, my Lord!" The demigod calls out in respect. The god simply waves a hand without turning around.

The god looks down at his mortal's home, he closed the window... he makes a area in the clouds that are spaced out enough to be see-through. In case the mortal takes a peak out his window, he'll still see the god's gift to him.
