Raavi paced around the house between helping with the cleaning and cooking. Her mother in -law thought something was wrong with her. She would give the typical Suman Ma look as if I know you are up to something just spill.

Raavi would go join Dhara Bhabi or offer her mother in law a massage of her legs or some tea every now and then.

By dinnertime she felt as if she had dodged her acute scrutiny at least for now. If Shiva didn't answer her tonight, she was going to leave by sunrise herself.

Society had advanced in some good ways and some bad ways. Somnath had not been advancing much, but maybe this town needed a chingari that only she could light.

She stole glances at Shiva throughout dinner.

Suman realized the couple were probably getting closer. But she hated mushiness at the table.

" Whatever this staring game is , you two need to not bring it to the dinner table ,"she said her usual sharp tone.

Raavi blushed realizing she had been caught trying to get Shiva's attention.

Everyone including Krish had tried to stifle their laughter.

It was her turn to inwardly groan.

She definitely was leaving by dawn with or without Shiva.

Raavi arrived in their bedroom to find Shiva had found her bag under their bed.

"Oh tu akele jane wali thi chipikali," he said somewhat dejected.

She crossed her arms and glared back at him.

" Tera toh 100 percent bharosa nahin tha," she retorted.

He pulled her close to his chest and looked at her straight into her eyes.

"I spoke to Goumbi . I told him I would handle getting some products we were short on some towns over. I told him we would be gone a week," he told her firmly.

"You told bhaiya my plan? I mean our plan?"

" Nahin, I made some excuse so there isn't some unnecessary drama while we are gone. A week is most I can get to let us both leave without any issues. Will that be enough for what you wish to do?," he asked.

She smiled.

"It will have to do. After all mere ek lauta pati dev ne plan banaya. Lekin Suman Ma.."

"Gombi will tell her after we leave. Chalo let's get some sleep," he insisted.

Raavi was so relieved that she jumped up and down in glee and of course, Shiva had to lean forward and catch her.

They both landed in heap on the bed.

He quickly pushed himself off her. He had conflicting feeling for his wife. He wasn't sure if Raavi would ever really care for him like a real wife. After all he wasn't even a consideration for until they had gotten married and then all the incidents that followed after.

She looked at his retreating figure as he went into the washroom to get ready for bed.

How she wished they could be best friends and a true couple sooner rather than later.

Tomorrow would be a start of new journey.
