Imlie ran back to her room, she stood infront of the dresser and took the out the concealer and was dabbing it furiously, she had started to panick, when Piyush came in,

I- I swear I hid it..I use the concealer everyday..

P- Imlie..look at me..hold my hand. She held his hand and he told her to take deep breathes. She followed his instructions and slowly her anxiety subsided.

P- It's okay Imlu..I know you don't want them to know. But kabhi na kabhi they would have known, especially Aryan.

Im- But I don't wanna be weak in front of him.

P- Imlie..you are not weak, yes you shouldn't have hurt yourself but it was your coping mechanism for everything you have suffered through.

P- Why don't you take some rest?

Im- Will you stay a bit..just until the feeling subsides..

P- You have not been talking to your therapist??

Im- Ya..I may have missed a few sessions..but I will start going again.

She had lied down on the bed and he had held her hand, she had fallen asleep and he made sure to put the blanket on her and switch off the Ac as well.

He had closed her room's door and he saw Aryan and others standing there..

Ar- Is she alright??

Arpi- I didn't mean to make her anxious.

N- Beta how she now??

P- Guys, chill she is fine now and she is resting now. Thodi der mein theek ho jayegi.

That was satisfactory for Narmada and Arpita and went away. Aryan was still looking at Piyush and then he asked,

Ar- What is really happening to her??

Ar- Okay..waise I wanted to tell aaj Mr.Tripathi and unki family aa rahi hain..dinner pe..

P- Oh dear..Why??

Ar- Trust me..I am fed up too but Aparna Tripathi came to know Imlie is back and she manipulated my mom to let her meet Imlie.

P- I think you should stay close to her..during that time.

Ar- Me?? I mean wouldn't she be angry with my sarcastic taunts??

P- You really are a ABP..you staying with her will give her strength as well as chance for you to be closer to her.

Ar- Fine..but don't call me ABP..only she calls me that.

Piyush laughed at his angry face, he was too easy to annoy. Imlie had taken her rest and had came outside only during dinner, Aryan was the first to talk to her,

Ar- How are you feeling now?

Im- Better..sorry aaj jo hua breakfast ke time.

Ar- Don't be..but I want you to know ki you can share anything with me.

Im- 😊..maybe one day I will..waise suna hain Mr Tripathi aa rahe hain..with the family.

Ar- Will you be alright??

Im- I think so.

They were talking and pulling each other's leg, when the Tripathi's arrived. Aparna went straight to Imlie and hugged her, she smiled and hugged her back.

She was happy to see the rest of the family, and the little baby boy, but she stayed away from Malini and Aditya, but they wouldn't leave any chance to taunt her,

M- Kya baat hain Imlie..tum toh kaafi rich friends rakhne laagi..

Im-(rolling her eyes)Ab kya kare Mrs Tripathi..thodi networking mujhe bhi karni hogi na..to move ahead in life..I don't want to remain a housewife my whole life.

Piyush had been drinking the juice, and laughed suddenly making the juice fall on him. She moved to help but Arpita was already helping him..she narrowed her eyes,

Im- (thinks) Lagta hain..natak real hone wala hain jald..Piyush dear..ab toh I will not leave any chance to tease you.

Ap- Narmada ji yeh kaun??

P- Mein inka hone wala Son in law.

Ap- But yeh vidwa hain?? Toh aap iski dursi shaadi kyun karwa rahi hain.

Before anyone else could reply, Piyush spoke up, he was already irritated the way they treated Imlie, and now shaming Arpita was crossing the limits.

P- Jaise aapka beta tennis khelta hain..biwi 1 and biwi 2 ke beech mein waise..

P- And please don't take this wrong way..yeh mere aur Arpita ke beech ki baat hain..so aap log interfere mat kijye. Have the dinner..and leave.

N- Piyush..it's okay beta..don't get angry..

Everyone grew uncomfortable, as they were eating, Aryan had sat next to Imlie and she nudged him, and pointed at Piyush and Arpita

Im- Look at them..they look so cute together..

Ar- Imlie..didn't Piyush tell you he loves Arpita di.

Im- ABP..tum natak nahi kar sakte ho..bahut bure actor ho..I know you wanted me to come here..and hence tried all this planning and plotting.

Ar- Oh..

Im- But now you too have a chance to tease them..as they always teased us..

They laughed quietly and ate the food. After that most of the women were talking with each other while the men were standing near the bar talking to each other..while our two couples stealing glances..

Ps- Next time..spending some time with Malini's son..suggest me a name??and tell me what should happen after it??
