"Princess I have something for you." I stopped and smiled at Cody. "And what is that?" He handed me my own bow. "Are you serious?" He nodded and I screamed jumping up on him wrapping my arms around his neck and screaming. "For when your crowned queen in three weeks. Teach your female subjects archery. I'll still teach you." I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek.
Cody really was sweet and proper he wouldn't be the one to break rules like Jeremy. Can you stop thinking about him? I told myself. No.
There was a gentle tap at my door. "Come in. Oh hi James."
"Hello Elena just wanted to remind you that you will be crowned in two weeks."
I rolled my eyes. "How could I forget."
"I just wanted to ask. Have you sets your sights on anyone?"
"No." except Jeremy.
"Fine I like Jeremy leave me be!"
James took a step back and I realized I was yelling. "That was for my brain."
"Clearly." James smirked.
"He's a bad boy. His emotions change real quick yet he's wonderful."
"I told you Elena follow your heart. No one's saying marry as soon as your crowned queen. You'll get to know him."
I sighed and nodded.
