A week until my coronation. "Princess may I talk to you?"
"Jeremy! Hi, I haven't seen you in forever. I thought you didn't want to see me anymore." I laughed and he grinned but it looked painful. "Jeremy what's wrong."
"Well the garden is quite nice Princess would you like to go there?"
"Why the sudden formality?" His hand was holding mine but I wrenched away. "Tell me what's wrong?"
"Don't be stubborn Elena...nothing's wrong."
"Fine then!" I turned to walk away I wasn't dealing with this shit! But Jeremy had other things in mind. He pulled me towards him. Crushing his lips on mine.
It wasn't like Codys. It wasn't lust it was that other L word that I didn't want to say now that it felt real. I pulled away. "Why did it feel like that?"
"Like what?"
"Real Jeremy, it felt real!"
"Why do you keep yelling?"
"Kiss me again."
He pressed his lips against mine once again.
It did feel nice and I loved it. He pulled away and I groaned. "Why did you stop?"
"I'm not going to use you. I just wanted to tell you something."
I was still trying to get over the kiss.
"Yeah?"
"Cody, he doesn't love you. He probably never will."
"And you do?" He held up his hands in surrender when I said that. "I came here because I was forced to and I sure as hell didn't know what love was but I think i'm coming close to figuring it out and I need you to know that Elena."
"Jeremy." Tears were running down my face. "Are you sure you love me? Do you realize that your saying this?"
"Elena are you hearing what your saying? Why would I say it if it isn't true?"
I pulled away. I didn't know what I was doing.
