A tired Eunju stepped in her classroom when suddenly a short peppy girl shook her arm excitedly "There's a new girl!" She smiled excitedly, hurrying up trying to find the girl "Good morning to you too Sooa" Eunju teased lightly, unexpectedly, a boy with orange hair popped out of nowhere "Hello ladies" he draped an arm around Sooa's figure, bringing her closer to him.
"Hello Taehoon" Eunju smirked as she fist bumped him "Did you see the new girl?" Sooa asked the boy who had a smug face "Yes, I did".
"She looks like a goddess,my eyes were tearing up after seeing that much beatuy" Taehoon put a hand into his chest dramatically "but do not fret, my dear Sooa"He clasped the hands of the small girl "my heart only beats for you" he recited with passion and hugged the girl.
Eunju stood there uncomfortable, "I'm gonna go now" she said to the couple, only to fall on deaf ears as both of them were in their own world.
When she sat in her seat, she opened her pocket mirror just to see if everything was in it's place wondering if she looked presentable for the day.
Her hair was in order, styled in a 90s inspired updo with an ungodly amount of hairsprsay, Eunju then smiled proudly at the somewhat blended liner, she was getting better at it.
She clicked it annoyance after finding out that the golen chains of her ear piercings were knotted together and proceeded to unravel it as carefully as she could, raising her eyes to the front of the class,she found Suho taking off his jacket with a sour look on his face.
What happened to your jacket she mouthed to him, fiddling with the chains The new girl he responded and showed the back of his blazer, that was stained with foundation, Eunju made a face of understandment.
Suho pointed to his ear with a questioning look they're stuck Eunju furrowed her brows What do you mean they are stuck? He mouthed confused.
Eunju rolled her eyes and cringed in pain as she had accidentally tugged one of the recent piercings Help me, Suho shook his head "Suho" she wishper-yelled harshly as the boy turned to the exit door with anger, ready to throw the ruined piece of cloth to the culprit.
"That bitch" Eunju furrowed her brows .The girl then sighed in relief when she felt that the piercing chains were unknotted finally facing the front of the classroom where she found her homeroom teacher on the stand, trying to get the attention of the class .
Then her amber eyes moved to the beautiful girl behind him "This is the new transfer student in our class Lim Jugyeon" Mr Han explained "Jugyeon,can you introduce yourself?" Mr Han kindly asked.
Eunju raised her eyebrows, impressed by the radical change of appearance, if she hadn't known the girl's name beforehand, she wouldn't have recognized her .
"Hi nice to meet you "Jugyeon timidly replied while she waved awkwardly.The class happily welcomed the new girl by giving her and ovation.
Eunju waved at her and mouthed a wow in at her appearance making the girl more relaxed. Eunju stopped paying attention when her classmate, Hyungu, started going off about how the classes visual average went up and distracted herself by drawing on her sketchbook,only to raise her head when she heard that Jugyeon was going to sit in Seojun's place.
After the announcement,her mind drifting off to the tall boy,a dull ache settling in her chest. Eunju closed her eyes and sighed, not wanting to step on the familiar terrain of confusing feelings she had for the boy.
Then she observed that Jugyeon fidgeted on her seat a lot and fiddled with Suho's jacket.After connecting the dots of what happened, Eunju prayed that Suho didn't slap Jugyeon's face with the jacket and then moved her eyes to the board and it's contents about the Chungrokpa poets.
After an excruciatingly boring morning, she moved down to Jugyeon's seat "Hello Jugyeon" She smiled and startled Jugyeon who looked at the girl and smiled widely.
"You two know each other?" Sooa asked "Yeah, we've met about two weeks ago" Eunju answered with a dazzling smile."I'm surprised she didn't scare you off, she looks so mean but she's a sweetheart right?" Sooa smiled and pinched the cheeks of the taller girl while Jugyeon giggled.
"Hey Shtop it"Eunju whined "You heard her"A stunning girl approached the group smiling "Soojin!" Eunju and Sooa smiled,the latter giving the girl a hug "This is Jugyeon" Eunju presented the girl who appeared starstruck by her beauty.
"Oh" Sooa took out her phone "What's your number? Put it in" She smiled as Jugyeon nodded and started to register her number on the short haired ravenette's device.
"Are you on social media?" The small girl asked again "What's your ID?" She put her fists on her chin, "I don't use it though" Jugyeon timidly replied.
"You'd be pretty popular" Eunju asked while she was braiding Soojin's silky hair who nodded at the statement.
"Like Kang Su" Sooa said "She's the high school goddess, according to me"
"And me" Eunju piped in "She's a total girl crush according to most of the girl's in the school" She teased and whined when the mentioned girl hit her leg and stood up.
"Please excuse their behavior"Soojin smiled uncomfortably "They talk too much"she side eyed the girls.
"There's no problem"Jugyeon replied sweetly.
After their exchange Sooa, Soojin and Eunju walked together in the search for dumplings when they saw Suho and Jugyeon discussing something about the cleaners.
Eunju sighed he's in a mood again she thought as Jugyeon explained the situation "Don't worry" she put a hand on her shoulder "he can be quite standoffish when you first meet him, he's like a cat" Eunju explained "an angry cat".
"You put it so nicely"Sooa giggled "he's a jerk, but I get it, he's your 'friend' and he's handsome and smart" She winked not so subtlety, making Eunju snort "He's the number one at our school, Soojin is the second one and Eunju the third".
"You're friends with him?"Jugyeon blinked in confusion "Yeah, ever since we were little" she smiled nostalgically.
"They are like the tipical romance cliche" Sooa squealed excitedly, making Eunju roll her eyes "No we're not" she scrunched her nose up in disgust.
"You're confusing Jugyeon" Soojin laughed at the mentioned girl, that was staring at them with wide eyes "They are not dating" She cleared,"but Sooa over here thinks that they are,in secret" she ruffled the mentioned girl.
"He's the most popular guy in school" Eunju chided "He has a huge female popularity, even though he's terrible at speaking with people"Soojin ended.
Eunju's stomach rumbled and took Jugyeon's and Sooa's wrists "Enough talking, I wanna eat dumplings" and made the girls follow her with a giggle "Jugyeon, after school we're going to the arcade, wanna come?" she smiled to the girl affectionately.
In the end the girls went to the arcade, forging a close relationship between them and making them inseparable,or so they thought.
