"So" Sophie said to both teens, her foreams resting at the top of the granite countertops "Why do you have such long faces?" Her golden eyes narrowed as Suho and Eunju glumly ate their food.
"Suho" The woman pursed her lips into a line "You had the same expression when you were six and I made you a Baked Alaska" Suho furrowed his brows offended.
"I remember that day" Eunju chuckled "You looked so confused when you opened the cake and the ice cream was still intact" She took a spoonful of Japanese curry.
"Don't get me started on you Scarlett" Her mom switched to English "I can see your puffy eyes " She pointed her finger to her eyes " Did you fight again with Seojun?" Her neatly trimmed eyebrows furrowed, accentuating her frown lines "I swear to GodI'm gonna kill the fucking boy if he made you cry".
Eunju rolled her eyes "We didn't fight again" She played with one of the star shaped carrots using her metal spoon "Plus you love the boy" She looked at Suho, who was eyeing the two of them "I had a nervous breakdown and he helped me with it".
"Are we going to speak everything in English or in Korean?" He said, his hand holding his chin with genuine curiousness. Eunju smiled when she heard him speak, his korean accent disseapeared when he spoke english, instead, it was the japanese accent that shined through.
"Which one do you prefer?" Sophie smirked "You'll have to tell me everything regardless" Suho rolled his eyes at that.
"sukina hito ga i-masu kamosirenai" Suho folded his arms on the white counter a smug glint on his eyes when both women looked at him unimpressed "You didn't say anything about Japanese".
"Really Suho?" Eunju shoved him lightly as she tried to recall her little and dusty knowledge about Japanese "Sukina..." She pondered for a minute " That means like" The ravenette widened her eyes "Oh my God I was right!"
"I also said might" Suho muttered as Sophie tried to conceal her excitement but the woman greatly failed.
"So who is it?" Sophie asked after clearing her throat "Is it Jugyeon?" She smiled, remembering the shy girl "She's really nice, if I recall correctly" Suho's head snapped at the mentioned of her name "oh its her" the woman smirked.
Suho, for the first time that Eunju knew him, blushed. Confirming her suspicions about the boy. He coughed, trying to regain his composure "What about you Scarlett?" Her eyes narrowed as the boy pronounced her English name.
The girl sighed, knowing that it was know her turn, she swallowed nervously before she bit her lip "Well" She started "One thing led to another and..." She swallowed " I started talking about Seyeon".
A thick silence settled on the room, so quiet that you could have heard a pin drop.Sophie looked at both teenagers, swallowing the lump in her throat as she circled the countertop "Oh honey" the brunette hugged the girl in comfort and squeezing the left hand of Suho, signaling that she was also there for him.

"I can't tell Sooa that I've been rejected" Jugyeon sighed, walking alongside the tall girl "It's so embarrassing".
Eunju furrowed her brows "Was it that bad?" The girl asked, Jugyeon wordlessly turned on her phone and handed it to her , Eunju raised her eyebrows as she read the message "Okay this is bad".
"I don't understand what made him change his mind" The brunette sighed "He appeared interested in me the whole date.
Eunju narrowed her eyes at a certain boy that was slowly walking inside the school "Yeah I wonder how that happened"
Just as they changed the subject, a motorbike passed them, the smaller of the girls smirked as she snapped some photos of Seojun.
Eunju decided to not partake in the nonsense, but decided to stay near.She didn't regret it one bit as the both of them started arguing.
"Are you my mom's mafia?" Seojun asked the girl as he gestured to her phone.
Jugyeon and Eunju snorted "I think you mean spy" The ravenette crossed her arms as she smirked.
" It's the same thing" Seojun debated "Aren't they both bad?" Eunju and Jugyeon locked their bewildered gazes.
Seojun's face dropped when Eunju looked at him and shook her head lightly, he parted his lips to speak, words dying in his throat when he noticed Jugyeon's brown eyes boring into the two of them.
"I have to go now" Jugyeon smiled and winked at the girl without any subtlety, turning away and skipping happily as she had something to blackmail the boy with the mullet.
"So now you are also one of my mom's spy" He turned to face her, deciding on not commenting the other girl's behavior "Just so you know" The boy smirked as he lighted up his phone "I also have some photos of you".
Eunju narrowed her eyes at him "You didn't" She looked at the screen, her eyesight was greeted by a photo of her at thirteen mimicking the girl from 'The Ring'.
"Yes I did" The boy smirked as he swiftly dodged the girls hand that was trying to catch his phone.
"You're so dead" the girl told him as he started to run, a wide smile on his face as the girl catched up to him and jumped on his back " Delete the picture!" She again tried to reach for his arm but ultimately failed.
"Never" The boy laughed. Both of them stopped when they were near the incinerator, Seojun looked to the sides, making sure that the place was deserted "Can we talk about what happened?"
The girl hopped off his back and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear "Yeah" she took a deep breath "I couldn't stop repeating that night, in a loop" the girl grimaced "but you did a hell of a good job calming me down".
Seojun's eyes lighted up "Really?" He rubbed his neck "I didn't want to overstep you know?" He laughed nervously.
"You don't have to worry Seojun" She squeezed his arms "You're a great friend " Those grateful words sounded wrong as they came out of Eunju's mouth.Thw word didn't even describe what the girl felt for him.
