Description:Miguel leaves you to go to Mexico

The tournament was long over. Cobra Kai won, which meant your days of karate were long over. You were a Miyagi Do so technically you get a little praise since Eli won the boys tournament, but it was still sad to think about.

After your shower you were on your phone scrolling through social media. Cobra Kai was posting about their win and on Kyler's Instagram story it looked like they were having some sort of after party. You frowned and shut your phone off, about to go to sleep.

Until someone was calling you.

Furrowing your brows, you sat up and checked your phone. It was from Carmen, your boyfriends mom. Carmen saw you as her own daughter and treated you with the upmost respect.

"Y/N......you need to get here as soon as possible." Carmens voice sounded frantic and that she was crying.

"Whats wrong? Are you alright?" You asked growing concerned, already getting out of bed.

"No. It's about Miguel. Just get here straight away." And with that Carmen hung up the phone. You were there when Miguel got injured and couldn't come back to the tournament. All he told you was that he was gonna take an Uber home and that he was going to call you later.

Once you got to the Diaz household the door was already open. There stood Carmen, Yaya, and Johnny. All of them looked distressed.

"Whats wrong? Where's Miguel?" You asked looking around the house for the boy.

"That's the thing kid. He's gone." Johnny replied and it was like time had stopped. Miguel couldn't be gone. You just saw him a few hours ago.

"What do you mean? Where did he go?" Miguel's yaya handed you an envelope which had your name on it.

Dear Y/N,
You're probably confused as to why you got this letter in the first place. Let me explain. After the tournament, I realized something. I'm not exactly sure who I wanna be. It felt like I wasn't fighting for myself anymore, but for other people.

And what's the best way to find out who you are by facing your past? Which is why I'm going to Mexico to find my father. I know you're hurt, and I'm so sorry for making you feel that way. I wanted to take you with me. I really did. But you have a better life back at home then I do. Do me a favor ok? Keep doing what you love. I'll be cheering you on from afar.

You closed up the envelope, tears filling your eyes. Miguel left you only because he knew you could have better than him. It wasn't fair. You wanted to be with Miguel at all times.

But, not everything goes to plan.
