Running through the school hall, I felt a strange feeling, like something bad would happen today, I guess detention?

Shrugging the feeling off I entered my classroom making everyone stare at me including Mr.Kim "late, again?" he scoffed as I nodded my head in embarrassment "just go and sit down on your seat, I'm too tired to deal with you today" he sighed and I bowed quickly in response before sitting down on my usual spot on the first seat in the second row while doing a little cheer dance in my head

"Stop it!" someone whisper yelled in my ear as I looked beside to see my best friend giving me a weirded-out look "stop what?" I asked confused "that face, you look like a happy fool" she rolled her eyes to which I grinned at her before concentrating on the lesson

Time skip~

It was now my free period and I was currently walking towards the library to find some books about the undead creatures, not like I needed them for any subject but reading those kinds of books and studying about those mythical creatures is one of my favorite hobbies

After wandering around the huge library for a while and not finding any book of my liking, I decided to sit down in front of a shelf to take a break

I closed my eyes after taking a seat but opened them again as I felt sunlight hitting on my eyes

It was a mirror...

The mirror was reflecting the light...but there aren't any windows here, then from where?

I jolted up from the floor looking around for the source of the sunlight but found nothing... And then I saw it

A book, with a golden design on it...the gold was reflecting?

I slowly extended my hands towards the upper shelf where it was placed trying to take a hold of it

...

Finally...

After struggling for a while I reached it and brought it down to take a better look and wow the cover was beautiful with red gems bored into it and a unique design of tree routes following upwards to the biggest gem

I opened the book after admiring the cover for a while to find the first page empty

Confused I skipped more pages to again find nothing but empty pages

What the h*ll? Is this a joke?

Frustrated I skipped all the pages till the end to finally see some writing on the last page, which also seem to be some kind of gibberish

"Sorry everyone, you need to get out in 10 minutes, the library is going to close soon" the librarian announced

Should I take it home with me?

After thinking for a while I decided to borrow the book, maybe I could translate it later

Don't...

I wish I could stop the old me from making that horrible mistake...

But what's done is done... it's past...
