They shared a table with their friends and unexpectedly, Jessica was surprised with Yuri's personality. It was far from the woman who stood in the street, looking dreadful and hopeless. The tandem of Yuri, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon had cracked them up, hard. Eyes were in tears as they laughed almost nonstop at every joke and punchline. She has never laughed like this in years. Seohyun is the only close friend she's got at work. Being one of the superiors, no one really mingles with her at her workplace. She would attend reunions and gatherings with her high school and college friends but they were not into constant communication. So, this is definitely new to her. And what's good is that it's their first time to meet and yet she felt like she's known them for years.
And with Sooyoung and Hyoyeon, they weren't able to escape being teased with each other. Yuri just went with the flow, teasing Jessica a few times whenever she blushed. They both felt thrilled in this new friendship that they'd built.
Jessica capped the night with a smile that didn't leave her lips. She left earlier than everyone since Krystal is waiting for her. They all understood. Yuri wanted to take her home but she insisted on going alone. She wouldn't want Yuri to miss anything on the table just because she has to leave.
Before they parted, Yuri didn't miss her chance to get Jessica's number. She was thankful enough that Jessica didn't show any hesitation when her number was asked and even to have lunch with her... well, with the gang some other time.

"Unnie!" Krystal greets her happily as she enters the room.
"Soojung!" She planted a kiss on her sister's forehead then handed her a paper bag. She puts the cup of a drink on the end table beside the lamp.
"Yoong asked me to give you this. I asked Nurse Mina if you can have these and she said okay. But, of course, you can't have coffee so instead, black tea?"
"Wow. Thanks, Unnie." Krystal excitedly opens the paper bag and checks the items.
"You can eat the pastries now if you want. Yoong left a note inside and some coupons."
"I'll read it later. Please thank her for me."
"I will..."
Jessica stared at her sister feeling happy. It's not every day she sees her smile. Well, not until her stories about Yuri ended.
"Soojung-ah... You won't believe who I ran into at the café!" Jessica sounded excited.
Krystal was surprised and curious. "Who?"
Jessica's lips stretched to a beaming smile. "Yuri!!!"
"Wow! Unnie! Seriously?!" Both of them giggled.
"Yes! I just really can't believe it. She looks so good. To be honest she looks so hot!" She smirked with a brow raised.
"Stop it Unnie! Do you have a picture?"
"Oh, yes." She gets her phone from her pocket.
Jessica wanted to have a selfie with Yuri hoping she could show it to Krystal but her shameful mind held her back. Instead, they took a group picture.
"Wait..." Jessica slowly scrolled through her phone screen. "Seo took a lot of photos since her phone battery was drained."
The doorbell rang unexpectedly.
"Oh, are you expecting someone?" Jessica asked as she stopped maneuvering her phone.
Krystal shook her head. "No Unnie."
"Okay, I'll get it."
Jessica went down to check the unexpected visitor.
The guest left her surprised with her mouth half open and stood there frozen.
"Yu--Yuri?"
"Hi!" And just like that, Jessica died mentally after seeing Yuri's gleaming smile. "Sorry. I just actually tried my luck if you still live here. I guess I was right."
Jessica gulped as she couldn't process the scene.
"Uhm... Are you busy? Should I leave now?" She asked with concern.
"Uh... No... Uhmm..." Jessica smiled shamefully as she lightly bows her head, a hand covering her face then shakes her head.
"Your... face is red again, Jessica." Yuri teased with a smile that hasn't left her lips since the woman opened the gate.
"Oh... Sorry, uhm... Come on in Yuri." Biting her lower lip, Yuri walked past her and she was sure how good Yuri smelled. A freshly sprayed cottony smell like perfume.
She died again.
"Soojung-ah... Someone wants to meet you." Jessica says as she stands on the side of her bed.
Krystal hummed with curiosity on her face.
A woman slowly walks to the room revealing herself.
"Hi... Krystal. Nice meeting you." Yuri stood on the end of the bed smiling at her.
"Soojung, this is Yuri."
Krystal's eyes widened the same as her mouth.
"Wha... What?! OMG!" Krystal's energy was unexpected. She has never been this excited and happy ever since she laid on her boring bed.
Her hands both waved rapidly at Yuri. "Yuri Unnie! Hello!"
Yuri walked closer to her and sat on the side of the bed. "Tell me you're joking about being sick?"
"Huh?"
"I mean, you look lovely." Yuri complimented.
"Unnie..." Krystal smiled in shame hearing the appreciation of Yuri. "I'm really happy to meet you. Really. I've heard so much about you."
"Really?" Yuri looks at Jessica who's smiling, scratching her forehead.
"Well, I guess, I'm going to live longer now after seeing you."
"Live longer? Why is that?" Yuri asked with curiosity.
Jessica gave a light squeeze on Krystal's shoulder. Indirectly telling her to shut her mouth.
"Hmm... Anyway, Jessica Unnie likes you so much."
"Soojung-ah!" Both Jessica's hands are on her sister's shoulders. "What... What are you saying?! Really. This is embarrassing."
Yuri chuckles then holds Krystal's hand.
"Well... I like your sister too. Is that okay with you?"
