"Treasure hunting" (10/17/2021) [4]

In Nickville Square, a calm but sometimes even chaotic city, was two thieves, named Shelby and Smack. It was like any other day, normal blue sky, nothing out of the ordinary. Smack would walk out of the house to grab the mail as they grabbed the stack of mail and went back into the house. "Anything new" Shelby asked "hm. no..." Smack said, flipping through envelopes until reaching a lavender colored envelope, a yellow star sticker in the middle of it to hold it from closing "oh! What's this?" Smack said, holding up the envelope as Shelby snatched it and took a look at it. "hm. looks important" Shelby said, ripping open the envelope and pulling out whatever was inside. It seemed to be a piece of paper with writing as Shelby started saying what was on the paper out loud. it read: " Dear Shelby and Smack, I need you two to steal something for me. something valuable to me. I cannot state what it is but it's very special to me, and maybe even you. you will get more information as soon as you arrive at the forest. Yours truly, ########" "hm. Shelby I'm not so sure about this." Smack said with Shelby brushing it off "come on, it's been so boring these past weeks, nothing interesting going on, let's go have fun and steal somn for this random guy- that crossed their name out in a letter-" Shelby said. "well- *sigh* if you say so, let's go" Smack said as the two jumped out the door and ran towards the forest.

as soon as they arrived at the forest, there was a note stapled to one of the trees, behind the note was a bunch of other pieces of paper. missing posters. Smack got a bit nervous as Shelby grabbed the note and started reading. It read: "You have arrived at the forest Smack and Shelby. you will soon see a path as you step into the forest to your prize" "Why did it suddenly turn into a treasure hunt?" Smack asked, "I dunno, but hey, it'll be fun!" Shelby said, running into the forest with Smack quickly following.

 Smack was getting more worried by the second, but it didn't seem to show on their face. Smack would suddenly have a vision of something jumping out at smack as Smack grabbed Shelby and went to the side of the path with a creature jumping out but missing the two of them "AGH" the creature screamed as it quickly got up on all fours. It seemed to be a fuzzy haired creature with a familiar looking hat, teeth sharp like a shark and a pink and yellow shine in its eyes. Shelby looked at this creature and froze. "YOU" She said, pointing at the creature and putting her arm in front of smack "P...P.." "Pent 5241." Smack said, as Pent 5241 started to stand up, a toothy grin on their face.

Pent 5241 would put their hands together and would look at Shelby and smack, their eyes looking like they've lost their mind with power. Shelby would be frozen in fear, knowing the things Pent 5241 has done to her. Smack would ready their fists as they'd swiftly try to punch Pent 5241 "WAIT!" Shelby shouted as Pent 5241 moved out of the way, Smack turning around to Shelby and suddenly getting tackled to the ground by Pent 5241, They'd hold down Smack'sarms and legs down somehow as Smack started shaking, not knowing what to do next. Shelby would stand there until suddenly kicking Pent 5241 with her metal foot, Pent 5241 getting hurt and rolling off of smack while putting pressure on the spot where Shelby kicked them. Smack would quickly get up and attempt to punch Pent 5241 again before Shelby grabbing his arm and squatting down to smack "Smack, we have to run. now." Shelby said as Smack looked back at Pent 5241 and begun backing up as the two started running. "God, I hope they're not part of this treasure hunt thing" Shelby said "It probably is. who else would lead us in this forest?" Smack replied as Shelby looked at him and just sighed "I don't want to be in their stupid mansion again. pisses me off that they keep coming back." Shelby said as she stopped to catch her breath with Smack doing the same "mansion?" Smack said "its. a long story." Shelby replied as she sat down. Smack would look around before sitting down as well. "All those heists and then a whole month of doing nothing until we actually do something and it's just a plan for that... thing to try and catch us. What the fuck is the matter with that thing." Shelby said, slamming her fist against the ground. "It's like it knows what we're going to do before we even think it." "let's try to stop thinking about that thing and start thinking of a way to defeat it." Smack said, trying their best to comfort Shelby.

Smack would suddenly feel like something happened to them as smack suddenly stood up and readied themselves as Pent 5241 would appear and suddenly bite Shelby's neck. Shelby screamed in pain with smack quickly punching Pent 5241 as Pent 5241 quickly moved out of the way and pounced at Smack, grabbing Smack's arms and legs and leaning into bite Smack as Shelby suddenly punched Pent 5241. They'd roll off of smack again but pouncing at Shelby like what they did to smack. Shelby would try to break free and struggle as Pent 5241 looked at Smack and begun to tie up smack with a series of ribbons! Pent 5241 would look back at Shelby with Pent 5241 leaning towards Shelby, her trying to move her head around, freaking out and shivering. Pent 5241 would suddenly bite Shelby in their mouth like a kiss of venom. injecting venom into Shelby while making her swallow venom. Shelby's eyelids would go droopy with her eyes becoming a pink and yellow pattern similar to Pent 5241's eyes. Her arms and legs would become numb, Pent 5241 finally being able to grab Shelby's head and continue injecting venom until Smack breaking out of the ribbons and punching Pent 5241 off of Shelby. Pent 5241 would easily get off of Shelby as they'd stand up and back up from Shelby, who would just be on the floor, unable to move at all. "SHELBY!" Smack shouted as he'd run to Shelby and try to hold Shelby up as Shelby would be shaking, taking deep breaths as if she could barely breathe. "What did you do you bastard." Smack said, angerly. "Something I've been wanting to do for YEARS~" Pent 5241 said, snapping out a claw towards smack. Smack would clench his fist with rage, carefully placing down Shelby as Smack stood up and begun walking towards Pent 5241. "This will be the last time you ever come here. You were not meant to be here, and you were never meant to EXIST here. you've messed with the wrong people when you came here, and I will never forgive you for taking away EVERYTHING!" Smack said, swinging a punch at Pent 5241 as Pent 5241 would suddenly fold and fall over... it was... a cardboard cutout... "wuh.. but... I saw you... move..." Smack would be confused as Pent 5241 would grab smack's arms from behind and hug Smack, biting Smacks head as Smack screamed in pain with Pent 5241 biting Smack once more, they'd begin eating Smack, trying to swallow him whole as they'd lift up smack, making him slide down Pent 5241's throat and into a pink portal inside them. Smack would try to grab onto the portal when they fell in it as the portal would suddenly close, making smack fall into an empty white void. Outside, Pent 5241 would lick their lips as they looked towards Shelby, who would lay there. motionless. "Now for the real treat" Pent 5241 said as they walked up to Shelby and picked her up.Pent 5241 would stare at Shelby for a moment, Thinking. "Is there a better way to do this?" Pent 5241 thought. "Ah that's right! I'm forgetting the salt, but I can't have salt with a spice. hm. Chow down it is." Pent 5241 said as they threw Shelby up in the air for a moment as Pent 5241 would open their mouth wide, Shelby falling into their mouth and sliding straight into their stomach. Pent 5241 would shut their mouth and puff out a small bit of fire from their mouth. "Nice and spicy~" Pent 5241 said, leaning down and rubbing their stomach. Shelby would suddenly snap out of it and swing a punch before realizing they were in Pent 5241's stomach as she'd began to thrash around in it. "WHERE AM I LET ME GO YOU WEIRDO, LET ME GO! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!" Shelby shouted as she'd continue thrashing around in Pent 5241's stomach. Pent 5241 would be holding onto their stomach as they'd laugh and walk off somewhere in the forest. placing a stored missing poster of Shelby and Smack they've had in their hat.
