Jeff motioned with his hand for me to follow, and after he begun to walk, I walked a couple lengths behind him, wary. If I even thought he would look behind him, I scurried behind a tree, fear shooting through me. He could kill me in a second, after all.

"After witnessing what you did, I knew you couldn't be left alone," He threw back, but I didn't respond, fearful that if he acknowledged me again, he might engage me in real combat.

"You're really bad at hiding," He snickered and brought out a knife, causing me to shoot behind a tree and put a hand to my own.

"But I like to hide, makes it better for surprise attacks," I whisper while behind a tree, then repeat myself to where he could hear me. If he thought I knew what I was doing, perhaps I could feign confidence. I heard him stop and spin around.

"Were nearly there. Come on out, I have some precautions for you," Jeff scolded and I heard him shift around a bit. I inched out from behind the tree, my hand still on my pocket. He began to tap his foot against the ground, and annoyance shot through me as I mirrored his arms, slowly approaching him.

"First of all, don't accept gifts from anyone. There's a lot of people here that want to kill you on sight," At that I rolled my eyes at put my hands up while walking backwards mockingly.

"You've got me scared to death!" I shout, cocking an eyebrow. Upon feeling my face move, I dropped the expression out of shock. Slowly lowering my hands, I traced the marks on my face. The scar to cover myself had disappeared, and instead I could feel the marks I had made that evening without pain. They didn't hurt anymore. I released a laugh of delight, "How did that-?"

"I said you're not human, you fucking idiot," He snapped, and my eyes flickered to his own wide ones. I dropped my hands with another smile covering my face, now a contempt one.

"If you think anyone there really loves you, you're going to die pretty fucking fast," I began to fiddle nervously, glancing down and back up at him.

"So why is this "place" even important? It doesn't sound like it's very fun," I pouted, and his expression hardened, causing fear to shook within me once again.

"I won't let you wither away in the fucking woods like I did. Let's go, we're late!" He suddenly shouted and turned around, bursting into a sprint. That brought me out my daze, and I scrambled to catch up with the boy. I felt my knife press into my leg as we ran, and I had to reach down to push it back in.

"Damn, how far is close to you?" I shout as he begins to gain distance away from me. In the fog, I didn't see him stop running in front of a door in the middle of it. As he opened it, I crash straight into him, knocking us both into a small room, tumbling around before we finally part, yelling at each other.

"SHIT SWEET WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" He screamed and pushed me off as I tried to get up.

"S-Sorry! Didn't see yah there." I apologized nervously and swung my frizzed hair back, pulling my foot away.

"Mother f*cker," He muttered before wiping his face again and nodding behind me. I whip around and come face to face with a blank sheet of white. I pushed myself away, trying to stand up as fear struck through me.

Greetings
The face spoke naught, however, I seemed to hear. In surprise I jump back into Jeff, who was trying to sneak into the room behind me.

"Can't get off me can you?!" He growled and shoved me away, right back into the room with the creature. I whipped around to look up at Jeff.

"What the Hell is going on here?" I shouted, my entire body shaking with adrenaline and fear as I went to grab my knife. He did the same, pulling it out before the creature I had seen before was suddenly behind him, hand on his wrist. Jeff paused.
