Return Of The Eleventh

Clarity

A/N: This may get a bit confusing because of the 3 Claras.

Back on the TARDIS, the 6 of them pondered what to do next.

"What are we going to do now Doctor?" Clara asked

"Well, I promised Oswin the stars, Victorian Clara promised to travel with me and we've got to get Danny home so I suggest Earth first" Eleven said. Clara missed this, her Doctor's adorable ramblings and affections. The Doctor she traveled with now couldn't even hug her properly. What happened to all the cute exchanges and ramblings? Upset and confused, Clara fled to her room, Oswin and Victorian Clara following.

"Clara? You ok?" Eleven asked

"Doctor...Don't she just needs girl time, leave it" Victorian Clara said, and continued to Clara's room. It was now bigger and had 2 more beds in it.

"Clara? What's wrong?" Oswin asked. Sitting on her bed with her.

"I'm confused and hurt, I haven't seen my Doctor in a long time and then he just shows up and I love him I really do but I promised him I'd help his 12th regeneration but each time I do I can' help but feel like I'm betraying his past regeneration, I love them both, but I know which one I'd rather be with. I don't want to break his heart though and its scaring me because I don't know what to do!! My heart says one Doctor and my brain says the other and I don't know which to choose!! I kind of wish he'd never regenerated now but that's selfish becuase then I'd never have met his current regeneration and I'd never have met Danny!!" Clara rambled, talking her heart out to two of her echoes.

"My god Clara! You can sure ramble on for god knows how long!! The Doctor's rubbing off on you!!, But...What do you mean there are 2 Doctors and what's regeneration?" Victorian Clara asked

"Oh, The Doctor, when he's going to die he can do this trick which changes his face, personality, etc. The only thing that remains is memories and sometimes feelings. Its called regeneration. The old man in the control room? That's that current Doctor. The Doctor you know has been gone a year, he's dead girls, I'm sorry, he's only here because the current Doctor gave me a machine that would grant me the one thing I wanted most in the Universe, and I did it, the thing I wanted most was the past Doctor, but now I feel like I'm betraying his current self" Clara rambled

"Oh wow, your in one hell of a dilemma! Tell you what, because we're all technically the same person, we'll all help ok?" Oswin said

"You-You will?" Clara said, tears streaming down her face.

"Why wouldn't we, we're you, we know what your felling, but sometimes its better to say things out loud, it can help" Victorian Clara said

"Thanks girls" Clara said

"Now, no more tears, who you want, past or present?" Oswin asked

"Pas-I don't know" Clara said

"What's the most obvious option?" Victorian Clara asked

"The current Doctor, that way I could just send the past Doctor home and let it stay as it was, but I don't want to do that, I can't let the past Doctor go, not again. I missed him." Clara said

"You did more than miss him, your desire to see him again was so strong you brought him back" Victorian Clara said

"Well, Clara, I'd go with your heart but I don't know the current regeneration so its going to take teamwork to find out who you really want" Oswin said

"I know a really good song that matches the situation we're in" Victorian Clara said

"What?" Clara asked

"Clarity, listen" Victorian Clara said, then she began to sing 'clarity'

"Hot dive into frozen waves as the past comes back to life, if I fear for the selfish pain it was worth it every time. Hold still before we crash because we both know how this ends, a clock ticks till it breaks your glass and I drown in you again. Cause you are the peice of me I wish I didn't need. Chasing relentlessly. Still fight and I don't know why. If our love is tragedy why are you my remedy? If love's insanity why are you my clarity. Thats the first verse" Victorian Clara said

"That fits perfectly, Clara you should sing that as we go back to the control room, so they hear you!!" Oswin said

In the Control Room

"we were fine before you turned up, this is your fault!!" Twelve yelled at Eleven

"MY fault? your the one who gave her the device in the first place!!!" Eleven yelled

"guys, can you hear something?" Danny asked, hearing faint singing

"hot dive into frozen waves, as the past comes back to life" could be heard coming from Clara as all three girls approached the control room.

"if I fear for the selfish pain it was worth it every time. Hold still before we crash because we both know how this ends, a clock ticks till it breaks your glass and I drown in you again." Clara sung as they entered the control room, Twelve glared at Eleven as he guessed what Clara was singing about.

"Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't leave." Clara's eyes widened at her slip up

"Chasing relentlessly. Still fight and I don't know why. If our love is tragedy why are you my remedy? If love's insanity why are you my clarity?" Clara sung, now facing her old Doctor.

"Beautiful song Clara" Eleven complimented. Clara blushed, Oswin and Victorian Clara looked at each other knowingly, she was still head over heels in love with her old Doctor, seeing him again only made her fall deeper in love than she was before and she didn't even see it, too wrapped up in her feeling of betrayal for the newer Doctor, she was blind about her love.

"Victorian Clara taught me it" Clara said

"if your going to call me anything can you please call me Clara or Vicky please?" Victorian Clara said

"Why Vicky?" Eleven asked

"Victorian, Vicky... get it?2 Victorian Clara said

"oh right, ok" Eleven said.

Really, Eleven was focusing on the song lyrics, obviously meant for the situation that they were in. As the past comes back to life was obviously him Hold still before we crash because we both know how this ends was that they crashed as he regenerated and it ended to save the universe. a clock ticks till it breaks your glass and I drown in you again The clock ticking was regeneration, the clock is striking twelve, eleven's time is over now. I drown in you again is, well, Eleven isn't sure about that one. Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't leave was when he regenerated, she left him because for her, the Doctor she knew was no longer there. If our love is tragedy why are you my remedy? If love's insanity why are you my clarity? Eleven thought that this was her missing him and bringing him back, saying that she needed to see him one last time, he was wrong. It was the fact that Clara loved him and couldn't let him go, even though Twelve was fighting to stay with her, she decided she wanted him more than Twelve. But no one saw this except for Danny, Oswin and Vicky, not even Clara saw and she was the one singing it.

They dropped Danny off home, he looked knowingly at Clara and Eleven but both missed his gaze, he rolled his eyes and turned to Oswin and Vicky.

"Keep me updated, don't be strangers" Danny said.

"Bye Danny" Clara, Oswin and Vicky chorused

"Bye girls" Danny said, walking away.
