"Why do you need to take so long to finish eating breakfast every single morning??" Chang asked watching me finish the chicken from yesterday, I was already on my third plate.
"It's not my fault that Cheong-san's mom's cooking is so good!!" I responded while getting up and putting the plate in the sink, then taking a plastic bag and filling it with the sweets my brother bought for me when he was coming home yesterday.
"If I see that you ate all of that today, I won't buy you any more candy for a week" Warned him opening the door for us to leave.
"Yes, you will! you love me" I smiled holding his hand. "What's that on your face???" I asked sarcastically, seeing a small smile form on his face that he soon tried to hide by looking away. "Admit you love me and would do anything for me, Oppa"
"I don't know where you got that from" he said pushing me playfully. Finally arriving at school the first thing I saw as we passed the gate was my brother's friends.
"You've finally arrived" I heard the annoying voice of my brother's "boss" who had an irritated expression on his face, while Gwi-nam had his shitty smirk. I better go find my own friends.
"I'll be going now, Oppa. I think I saw I-sak entering the school when we arrived" I said turning around but I was stopped when I heard Myung-hwan's voice.
"Hold on." I turned around feeling my heart speed up a little nervously. I really don't like this boy.
"Hmm?"
"You had to clean the science lab yesterday with Hyeon-ju didn't you? Do you know where she went? She didn't leave with us yesterday" Myung-hwan asked surprisingly calm.
"When I left she was still there, I don't know where she went next" I replied remembering well when I said goodbye to her. Maybe something happened? I don't think so, she probably went straight home instead of going with the boys. Whenever we all leave together she finds a way to complain about how slow we are. I just stood there waiting for Myung-hwan to say at least one thank you for making me spend saliva talking to him but he just ignored me and went back to talking to my brother and Gwi-nam making me roll my eyes. I went back to walking towards the gate, all my friends have a habit of being late, for some reason, so I doubt anyone is already in the classroom (Actually maybe Joon-yeong is there) I only mentioned I-sak to make sure my brother would let me stay at the school door waiting for one of my friends.
