"Fire!" She cried and ran from room to room forgetting she was home alone for the sixth time this week already. Starting to grow breathless she dropped to the floor crying hard and sucking her thumb. Hearing the sirens and screams of the EMT's and firefighters grow faint she closes her eyes and lets the world go black around her.

Hearing a young girl's cries from inside I run inside without hesitation seeing her laying there sucking her thumb; I pick her up and runback out laying her on the gurney. I climb in behind her checking her vitals and putting a oxygen mask on her little face watching everything.

Looking at my partner fast I quietly yell, "let's go!" My mommy instincts already had kicked in and I wanted this little girl to be as safe as possible. Not knowing anything about her I still just keep checking her vitals as needed and watching her closely.

Upon arriving to the emergency room little bit started awaking. "Wewe am mes?" I heard in the cutest little voice ever and behind the oxygen mask. "Hi honey, I'm Jade and we just arrived to the ER."

Starting to cry hard and struggling to breathe, I picked her up instantly holding her against my chest and humming softly. Fighting against the oxygen mask but not me she takes it off and lays against my chest again mumbling tearfully, "c-can't go in-in thewe no wowed."

I brushed the baby hairs out of her face still humming before asking, "do you want me to come back after my shift is over in exactly one hour and stay with you until they clear you to leave; does that sound good to you?" Nodding hard against me I giggled slightly and looked at the doors opening, "this is my partner, Storm, we are going to walk in with you but I need you to be a brave little one and come with us okay sweetie?" I stood and started getting out of the back of the ambulance still holding her against my chest, Storm held my hand as I stepped down. We walked through through the ambulance bay and Storm stepped aside with the nurse while I kept her calm the whole time.

"Alright sweetheart, I'm Jessie I'll be your nurse can you tell me your name and how old you are?" Jessie asked in the sweetest and calmest voice knowing the young one in my arms was probably a little.

"Mes Shea an an mes 22" she whimpered very scared, making all our eyes widen because how tiny she is. When we got her to her hospital room she started crying again clinging to me harder not wanting to be let down. I tried laying her down so they could check her over; she started crying so hard and loud that it broke my heart in pieces. "Hey sweet girl it's okay I'm right here, let me call my boss and see if I can go ahead and stay okay" I said while holding her head gently and laying her down on the bed.

I called Jay and told him the whole situation; he knows I'm a mommy domme and he immediately let me stay with her to keep help her stay calm and hopefully get better faster.

After calling Jay I walked to Shea's room and seen her hit Jessie while screaming at the top of her lungs, "NO! Det off mes, yous huwtin mes! Off nows!" Using my soft but firm mommy voice making her and Storm both jump when I speak I say, "hey hey we do not speak to others that way and we definitely don't hit anyone. Can you please calm down for me?"

Seeing her start to cry but take deep breaths I pick her up laying down on the hospital bed and holding her to my chest she mumbles, "m-mes sowwy mes dus w-wan yous." I rub her back gently and whisper in her ear while Jessie puts a IV in her right hand "shhhhh it's okay love, I'm right here and I get to stay with you until your all better. Does that sound good?" Nodding but crying silently from the IV and looking up at me whispering but loud enough the whole room heard her. "Mommy det 'tay wif mes?" Watching both Jessie and Storm's eyes widen I nod trying to hide my teary eyes and kiss her forehead.
"Yes sweet girl mommy gets to stay with you." Shea lays her head in my neck taking a deep breath and closes her eyes falling asleep soon after. "Goodnight love."
