"Will you join me? Will you join the Thirty Persons on their hunt for the Rod of Ability?"

"Say what again?" the young fellow looked up from the cup in his hands and found himself to be the only one sitting in a crowd of almost thirty people.

"Um...will you join me? Will you join...join the Thirty Persons on their hunt for the Rod of Ability??" he questioned his question.

The young fellow stood up with great confidence. Every person of the Thirty Persons quickly sat down to hear a response. Kahl walked over closer to the young fellow.

"What say you?"

"I am Michael of the Manor," said the young fellow, or Michael of the Manor, if you will, "and I...am a man seeking opportunity. Opportunity of which I desperately have sought after for my entire life. If this be the opportunity of a lifetime, then I shall search no longer. If you, Kahl the Called, are whom you boldly say you are, then my hope is in your hands. I yearn to discover this Rod of Ability. This shall be my legacy. This shall be my new destiny. I gladly accept your invitation!"

"He could have just said yes," whispered a person of the Thirty Persons.

"Then it is truly settled. At last, we have become the Thirty Persons!"

"Oh, were we not before? You were just calling yourselves that?" asked Michael of the Manor.

"We are highly optimistic," said a person of the finally Thirty Persons.

Kahl the Called raised his cup and the Thirty Persons did as well, "Legends of our own time. That is what we shall become. The Rod of Ability shall be ours!"

After a few moments of childish cheering, Michael of the Manor, the young fellow, pushed his way through the crowd to speak with the boss, Kahl the Called.

"So, where is it?"

"Where is what?"

"The refreshments. I am parched."

"Oh, well, there might still be some in the back—"

"No, not the refreshments! I've had enough strange drinks for today."

"Oh, you mean the Rod of Ability!"

"Yes, the Rod of Ability, yes."

"But of course. It's not that simple."

"How is it not that simple? I thought you said you found it or discovered its location."

"That's where it's not that simple. What we have discovered is the location of an individual. This individual is rumored to know where the location is."

"Of the Rod of Ability?"

"No, a mansion."
