Our faith sometimes weakens and we become overwhelmed by our desires. The shaytaan makes sin attractive to us, so we fall into things that Allah 'azza wajal has forbidden. Now the question is not whether or not you will sin, because mistakes are in fact part of our nature.
The question is: what will you do after you've sinned?
This hadith is in Muslim
The Prophet salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said: By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if you did not commit sin Allaah would do away with you and bring people who would commit sin then pray for forgiveness so that he would forgive them
SubhanAllah
The concept of tawbah(Repentance) is amazingly beautiful. We don't have to confess to an intermediary we directly seek it from Allah Subhana watala and that is so beautiful.
Brothers and sister we all knowingly or unknowingly commit sins day in day out we do right? You commit a sin and then you feel bad afterwards, so bad that your guilt makes you feel down and so low that you feel you can't be forgiven so why repent?
If you've done something so wrong, you must be a terrible person, right? Wrong! There's a major difference between being a bad person and doing something bad. Allah (swt) gave you the chance to repent and in sha'Allaah your sin will even be transformed into a good deed! Isn't that amazing?
The first thing is when you and I sin, we're disappointed with ourselves. That's a matter of fact. I mean if you have any ounce of decency left in you, when you do something wrong at the end of the day, you go back and you say, "How could I do that?" Now you lost hope in yourself in some respect and that's what disappointment by definition is. You lost hope in yourself and you ask yourself: "How could have I done such a thing?" That's natural, it's normal. It's not something bad to be disappointed in yourself. It's not something bad to be sad about your sin ..... It's actually a gift from Allah Subhana Watala, because you still have a conscience
Allah has hope over you. Just because I don't have hope in myself doesn't mean Allah doesn't have hope in me or Allah does not expect more from me or Allah Himself is disappointed in me. By the way, all of you, you should talk to Allah Subhana Watala. You've memorized lots of duas, the prayer's done, you raise your hands, you make some duas you have memorized. When you're walking to school, when you're walking downstairs, you're by yourself, talk to Allah: "I really messed up. I'm sorry." You know when you talk to someone you know they can hear you? You know when you talk to someone you know they can hear you. When you talk to Allah do you know He can hear you? Do you know He can hear you? Yes. And if you feel weird if you feel like 'I'm talking to myself, that's kind of weird.' You know what that means? That means you're not really a string believer because you have to believe that Allah hears you. So you have to learn to talk to Allah. you're still Allah's slave. Even if you disobey Allah, you're still His slave. And that Master of yours He's saying don't lose hope, even If you've sinned. And don't try to tell me 'you don't know man, I'm bad, I'm real bad'. Allah knows more, Allah actually knows how bad you are. Despite all that you are He still says 'don't lose hope in My mercy'.
'No doubt Allah will forgive all of the sins, altogether.'
And SubhanAllah we get the opportunity from early morning till late night. Just think about it Allah calls us five times a day. Opportunities are endless brothers and sistere .Make the most out of it and ask from Allah and he will grant you in sha Allahu talaMay Allah subhana watala give all of us the best in this life and the best in the next
