Ruby made it to the end, and she was congratulated by a trainer.
"Congratulations!! You have beaten the five trainers!! You sure are strong."
"Thanks. I've actually only just started this journey a few days ago, and I beat two gym leaders."
"Oh, that's impressive. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"Would you like to join Team Rocket?"
"What? No!"
"Please?"
"No!!"
"Come on, give it a try!"
"I've already encountered those creeps, and I'm never joining them!!"
The trainer sighed, "You try to be nice."
He then revealed himself as a Team Rocket Grunt.

Ruby is challenged by Team Rocket Grunt!
Team Rocket Grunt sent out Ekans!

"Go Charmeleon!!"

"Charmeleon, use slash!!"
Charmeleon hit hard, and the grunt said, "Ekans, use bite!"
Ekans bit Chameleon, and Charmeleon was failing about.
"Charmeleon, FlameThrower!!"
Charmeleon then threw Ekans off, and blasted it with fire!
"Ekans!!"
Ekans got up, and the Grunt said, "Use Wrap!!"
"Use Fire Fang!!"
Charmeleon then bit Ekans, and fire burned the snake Pokemon, making it faint.
"Come back Ekans, GO ZUBAT!!"
"Charmeleon, return!! GO PIKACHU!!"

"Pikachu!!!"
"Zubat, use screech!!"
Zubat then screeched, and Pikachu covered his ears.
"PIKACHU, USE THUNDER BOLT!!"
Pikachu, while covering his ears, shocked Zubat, and Zubat stopped the screeching.
"Now, use Iron Tail!!"
Pikachu then jumped up, and slammed down on Zubat, and Zubat fainted!

Ruby defeated Team Rocket Grunt!
"Argh, you are good!!"
Ruby received 400 Poke Dollars!
"With your skill, you'd become a Team Rocket Leader. Come on, think about it."
Ruby then pulled out Crescent Rose, and said, "FOR THE LAST TIME, NO!!! NOW GET OUT OF HERE!!"
"okay," whimpered the grunt, and he ran off.
Ruby then continued her journey. It wasn't eventful, other than battling trainers. She then saw the next gym, and said, "Let's do this!"
