We arrived at Lucas's house. It was bigger than mine (😏). There they were his parents and they were very friendly. We went to his room and we immediately started chatting.
We were talking for hours, even Lucas's parents came into the room to bring us food and to see what we were doing.
At some point silence filled the room, and I thought to kiss him. I went to do it but he pushed me away. I looked at him confused and then I saw the terror and the sadness in his eyes. I went beside him and asked him what's wrong.
-Just...you see, my parents don't support that kind of stuff and I know that if they see us together they won't let me see you again.
I never thought about that. I was so used that my parents don't have a problem that i forgot other parents have. I hugged him and kissed him quickly and then I went away. I held his hand and I looked him in the eyes.
-I'm glad we talked today. I feel like we're closer now.
I looked my watch and the time had already passed. I sat up and I said goodbye to him and then to his parents, and I went home.
I was thinking hours and hours to find a solution, but the only solution we had at the moment was to not go to his place very often or to tell them the truth and see how they would react.
Around 9 p.m I sent him a message to see how he is. He replied immediately. Fortunately he was doing great. We started talking about random stuff. We arranged to hang out to my house tomorrow. When my mom came to my room I saw that we talked for about one and a half hours. I told him that I gotta go and we said goodnight to each other. I went to eat dinner with my parents and the questions started.
-With who were you talking?
-With Luca.
-And what where you talking about?
-Random stuff.
We ate in silence for a little until my dad started talking.
-With that kid, Luca, you're acting strange when you're talking about him or you're go to see him. Is there something going on?
I gulped. Did they find out? There's no way. Before I said something my mom talked.
-I have the same question and so you know I won't let it pass. But for now go to sleep. Goodnight.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I said goodnight and went to my room to sleep. What a day.
