Manjuu Grand Prix Rule book (Revised)

Here's what the rules will be in the upcoming Manjuu Grand Prix!

Circuit Racing Rules ( 1st Leg )

1. Cars

• All participating vehicles must have the following specs:

Power output: 500 -700 Horsepower

Maximum curb weight: 1500 Kg or lighter

Transmission/Gearbox: Must have sequential or dual clutch gearbox

Turbochargers and Superchargers are optional

Maximum Engine cylinder count: Must have an engine with six or more cylinders.

Roll cages must be applied to help stabilise and stiffen the car and, to also provide added saftey for the driver

• Cars need to be checked and tested in order to avoid replacing damaged parts in mid-race.

2. On Track Rules ( Important )

The first leg of the Manjuu Grand Prix will be a seventy-lap ( 70 ) circuit race. The top

• Upon starting, drivers are to execute a Le Mans style start ( drivers will stand outside, a couple of feet away from their vehicles and run towards them when a starting gun shot will be heard).

• Cheating will not be tolerated and if a driver is caught by doing the following:

Trash talking

Physical assault

Bumping or crashing into another driver's car with intent

Usage of nitrous oxide ( Nos )

( For those who don't know why Nos is prohibited, its because it contains nitrogen which is denser than oxygen making the engine burn more fuel and increasing power to certain amount depending on the Nos tank )

Or any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification.

3. Driver swaps are allowed in case of one of the drivers need a bowel break or acquire an illness.

Drag Racing Rules ( 2nd Leg )

1. Cars

• All participating vehicles must have these specs and modifications

Power output: 2000 horsepower or less

Maximum curb weight: 1900 kilograms or lighter

Transmission/Gearbox: Transmission has no limits or specified type. Although, a Three speed power glide transmission is suggested.

Maximum Engine cylinder count: Engines must be 4 to 12 cylinders only

Usage of drag slicks ( tires ) are a must

Must have a rear stabilizer ( for rear-wheel-drive cars )

Must have a small to medium parachute at the rear

Naturally aspirated engines are heavily discouraged

Roll cages must be applied to help stabilise and stiffen the car, and to also provide added saftey for the driver

2. Drag Strip Rules ( important)

• All drivers with rear-wheel-drive or front-wheel-drive cars are encouraged to execute a burnout when facing against all-wheel-drive opponents. ( Because cold tires in rwd and fwd cars cause wheel spin, executing a burnout will make the tire heat up and acquire more grip ).

• NO CHEATING ( refer to the second dot on the 1st leg in-track rules ).

• Driver swaps are not necessary since the races will be finished in 8 seconds or lower.
( Minus rematches)

3. Drifting Rules ( 3rd Leg )

1. Cars

All participating vehicles must have these specs and modifications:

Power output: 900 horsepower or more

Maximum curb weight: 1400 kilograms or lighter

Transmission/Gearbox: sequential transmission only

Naturally aspirated engines are not allowed

Suspension engineering must be utilised to make the car fully drift capable

Rear-wheel-drive drivetrains are to be used only

Roll cages must be applied to help stabilise and stiffen the car and to also provide added safety for the driver.

2. Drift Track Rules ( important )

Modeled after the real life Formula Drift ( FD), crossing the finish line doesn't mean you win.

At the start, two drivers will make two runs, one driver one the first run will lead while the other driver gives chase. And after the first run, they will switch positions and do another run this time the other driver will lead and the driver that led the first run will now give chase.

To win, the two drivers must slide their cars along the track to the finish line while following the drift lines, and wait for the three judges' decision on whether they have picked a winner or do the whole run again, known as One More Time or OMT.

• Bumping into another driver's car is normal, but not if you have the intent to do so.

• And of course NO CHEATING
