Chapter 5: New Friend

Beomgyu's POV
Me and Myungsoo have been getting along well. I toured him around school, I helped him with topics he didn't understand, I have been helping him adjust. We hung out together after class for awhile everyday until he got new friends, Lee Kihyun, Shim Saeru, and Byun Chaesoo. They're well known for being delinquents, they prefer to mess with people, I don't know why Myungsoo joined them when they are mean. Kihyun as their leader, Shim Saeru as a "queen bee" who messes with fellow girls, and Byun Chaesoo as a quiet but when he's pissed off he doesn't have self control, let's just say he's the reason why a guy from 11th grade got sent to the ER. Myungsoo is kind, opposite to Kihyun's group. Anyways, it has been a month since he attended here and I can sense he is ignoring me. I can also sense the change in him.

I tripped in the hallway, "Watch where you're going." Saeru, rolled her eyes. I slowly got up and bowed to them. I glanced at Myungsoo— he snickered(?) at me? "Yah! Stop staring at people, don't you know it's weird? Wait, don't tell me you're gay?" Kihyun said as he pushed himself to stand on his feet and walked towards me.

"I-I have to go..." I turned to walk towards my class but I was grabbed by the hair by Chaesoo. "Brat, don't you have manners? Don't walk away when we're talking to you." Myungsoo laughed and slapped me across the face. I was stunned, what..? My mind blanked, did he just slap me?

"YAH WHAT DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING TO BEOMGYU!" Taehyun runs towards us, pushing them away and held me close in his arms. "Get out Taehyun, it's our business—" "The fuck did you say? HE is MY friend, HE is my business. Mess with him and I'll kill you, and you." Taehyun turned to Myungsoo who had an unreadable expression, "You're the one Beomgyu was with these past few weeks right? You're his friend, why did you do that?" Myungsoo just shrugged, "He looked fun to mess with—" Taehyun couldn't contain his anger and punched Myungsoo in the face. "Taehyun!" I grabbed Taehyun, "Let me go hyung."

"No! It's fine, please! Let's go before you get suspended." I dragged Taehyun away from the scene. "Hyung, you should've let me, how dare he?! You took care of him, even going out of your way to decline our invitations just because of him." I sighed, "I'm sorry, but you didn't have to do that..." I turned to go to his class, surprised to see it destroyed. "Oh hey guys!" Huening walked towards us. "Taehyun, I heard you punched an asshole there. Mind telling me what happened?" Taehyun rolled his eyes, "They messed with Beomgyu hyung. Myungsoo slapped him. Oh shit— hyung is your face alright?" I laughed at Taehyun, "Took you long enough."

"WHAT HYUNG?!" Kai shrieked, "Calm your ass down Kai, this isn't the problem. Why the fuck is your classroom wrecked?" I pointed to the room. "Oh that? We're transferring to the college building for awhile. Including you hyung, some rich kid decided to call her father to wreck the highschool building. Damn that's funny." Kai said wiping a stray (non existent) tear. "Bro, it's only two months and students are going crazy." Taehyun cackles. "We're gonna be late, let's go to the college building."

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Soobin shouted as he saw us. "Do y'all really have no social media? It's posted in the school page." Huening said with sass. Soobin fumbled with his phone to check, we also took a peak.

"Students of HYBE Academy and University, unfortunately our high school building has been damaged which led to the destruction of class 12-A, 12-B, 11-A, and 11-B. In the meantime, students of those classes are transferred into the College Building while we renovate the classrooms. Class 12-A and 12-B shall be assigned to the Performance Arts Department in lecture room 121. Class 11-A and 11-B shall be assigned to the Business Management Department in lecture room 116. Please follow your schedule.

"There goes the bell, unfortunately I can't bring you to your class gyu. It's just up the third floor to your right." Soobin said apologetically before motioning the 2 youngest to follow him. I turn to follow the direction, fortunately it's near. I knocked on the door before entering. Oh good thing I'm not late. I sat down a random pew, waiting for the teacher. "Alright class, goodmorning, please open your Math books to page 78–"
