Chapter Nine

( * Y/n's POV * )

I woke up to the sound of villagers walking around and birds chirping at my window. I opened my eyes to only then be blinded by the beam of sunlight flashing through my curtains, I threw my hands over my eyes and sat up I looked over at my alarm clock

11:19am

"OMG IM LATE FOR TRAINING!" I yelled and jumped out of bed, I flew open my curtains and opened a window and ran to the linen cupboard I grabbed a white towel with pink stars on it and ran into the bathroom. I turned the foist to hot and waited for the shower to steam. I stepped in and my muscles became relaxed at that moment I almost forgot that I had to get ready for training but as that thought re entered my mind I grabbed my shampoo and started to wash my hair.

After getting it out I used conditioner and shaved. After washing out the conditioner I turned off the shower and stepped out as the cold air hit my body it sent goose bumps up my body along with chills, I had just grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body before I heard a knock on the door 'Hmm I wonder who that could be' "One minute!!" I ran to my room putting on panties and a bra and put the towel back on. I didn't really care about them seeing my arms or legs. As long as I was wearing panties and a bra im fine.

I ran downstairs and opened the door. Sasuke was standing there I turned red thinking it would be Sakura because usually when im late she comes to get me. I watched his face turn red and look away "u- uhmm Kakashi sent me t-to see if your o-okay." The boy mumbled putting his hands in front of his eyes and turning to me "he got worried since you didn't show up so I was sent to get you" I giggled "Sasuke you can look it's fine. Im not named you pervert. Always yeah im fine I just woke up a big late thats all" I looked down and rubbed the back of my head.

"Okay. Well then I'll meet you at the training field or do you want me to wait for you?" I shrugged "either ways fine with me. But if your gonna wait come inside and if your not close the door" I ran upstairs leaving him at the door. I heard the door close 'hmm so he probably left whatever' I grabbed my ninja outfit and put it on. I brushed my long/short h/c into a pony tail letting my curtain bangs swag in my face (if you don't have bangs at all then you can add them or ignore I said that)

I ran into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, I put on lip chap and ran back into my room grabbing my weapon belt putting it on and adding my pouch I put the new book I started reading into my pouch it's called Icha Icha volume 2.

With that I ran downstairs to my suprise Sasuke was still there "well hello mister" I smiled and put on my shoes "ladies first" and pointed to Sasuke he gave me a mad look and pushed me out the door. We started walking to the training grounds.

As we were walking I cant stop remembering that kiss. I don't know if I should bring it up or not. 'I should bring it up I should stop being a f-cking baby.' I looked over at him "hey Sasuke.. uhm that night whe-" I was cut off by a hand stopping me. I turned around and it was Sasukes. He looked down at me. "Yes we should probably talk about that" I could see how nervous he was. To try and calm him I smiled "well we still have a few minutes before we reach the training grounds we can talk now if you'd like?" H let go "that night. I-I chickened out I'm sorry. I should of told you how I felt instead of kissing you I was just so scared you'd reject me I just didn't wanna ruin our friend ship." I was shocked at how sincere his words were. He was not faking his emotions at all he was being genuine. I looked around and checked for any chakras it was just mine and Sasukes and with that information I grabbed his shirt and pulled him down I gave him a smell peck and let go

"You never have to be afraid to express your feelings with me Sasuke. I too was afraid that if I expressed my feelings out friendship would get damaged so I kept it in until that night. When you kissed me I was surprised and flustered that's why I ran after" I giggled and looked down.

He looked at me I could feel his eyes looking at me I looked up and our eyes met. His beautiful black orbs shining with that same light they had before his clan was slaughtered I smiled "we can take about this more later let's get to the training ground!" And with that we started walking his hand came close to mine and then we intertwined our fingers. His hands were so warm and soft, it felt like I was touching a baby's.

We continued to hold hands until we arrived at the training grounds. I stepped ahead of him and I was met by a yelling Sakura "Y/N! YOUR LATE AGAIN. NEXT TIME I SWEAR IM GONNA GIVE IT TO YOU" and without a punch was thrown my way I dodged it and laughed "sorry, I overslept the mission left me really tired" I walked beside a tree and leaned on it waiting for Kakashi to explain

"Alright team Kakashi, today we're gonna be sparing. Y/n and Sakura and Sasuke and Naruto." He clapped his hands and we walked to our area.

I stepped into a fighting stance as did Sakura. Sakura has 1 signature move for starting a fight so it's easy to read. Its her fist to the ground, it causes rubble to come up distracting around her opponent causing a smoke screen so she can go behind and land a hit. And with that she did her signature move. She punched the ground harder then ive seen her do before. I jumped up and landed on a tree behind me creating 2 shadow clones. 1 went where I was originally to trick Sakura into thinking it was me the other went to the opposite side on a tree.

Sakura did as I expected her to do she went for my shadowclone. When she did that I caused my other shadow clone to jump down and attack while she did that I did the hand signs for falling-stars and charged at her from behind. I didn't put enough Chakra into it for it to hurt her terribly only enough to possibly knock her out for 30 minutes and with that she was hit with my Jutsu he feel unconscious I ran infront of her and caught her on my back.

I grabbed her legs and piggy backed her to Kakashi-sensei and set her down "Are the boys still at it?" He nodded and we watched. Naruto has I think 25 shadowclones and had 5 attacking Sasuke. Sasuke pulled out a Kunai and sliced threw them all as more came at him he did the same. When Naruto came at him he used a fire ball Jutsu, Naruto jumped but tripped and landed on his face I started giggling at his clumsy a-s.

After there fight was over they came over and sat down panting and sweating "I-I s-ee you w-won your m-atch y-/n-ch-an. I nodded I grew a water bottle for each boy and they gulped it down.

We kept on sparing with eachother for the rest of the day between me and Sakura I won 2 and she won 1, Sasuke and Naruto was 2 and 2, Me and Naruto was 1 and 1 and me and Sasuke was 2 and 1 I could tell he was going easy on me so I didnt really count them as a win.

We all set out and I went home. I did my night routine and got into bed I read a bit of my novel and feel asleep with it on my face.
