Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...
Tessa could hear the echoing sound of a machine beeping. Her ear was ringing as her brain felt like it was a swirling mass of slop.
Just where... Where...
A glowing pair of amber eyes flashed in her head!
"LET ME GO!!!" screamed Tessa as she bolted upright.
"WOAH! WOAH! Take it easy Tess!" Astrid exclaimed as she grabbed Tessa and hugged the hyperventilating girl close. "Easy... Easy..."
Tessa began to take slow breaths as she began to take in the familiar surroundings. "This place is... You are..."
"Tessa?" Astrid said softly, pulling back and holding her sister's face with both hands.
Tessa's vision finally focused as she saw her relieved sister's face smiling at her. "Astrid?"
"Tessa!" sighed Astrid in relief, making Tessa smiled tiredly as well.
Although that smile immediately dropped when Tessa's face suddenly turned a sickly shade of green. "Astrid...."
"Tessa?"
"Gonna hurl..."
"WHAAA!!! HOLD ON!!! HOLD ON!!!" Astrid exclaimed frantically as she quickly scrambled to grab the waste bin for Tessa to puke in.

Meanwhile, at the top of Beacon tower, Oscar was behind his desk discussing with, his second-hand, Glynda, his Grimm studies teacher, Professor Williams, and, his old friend and combat studies teacher, Jaune Arc.
"Did you tell Karma's parents?" Glynda asked.
"No. . . It's not easy explaining that your daughter got assaulted by another student because she got possessed by a demon....." Oscar replied, referring to Cinder.
"You just did. . ." Williams pointed out, attempting to lighten the air in the room with a joke.
"Not now, Bill. . ." Jaune sighed.
Glynda shook her head. "What about Tessa's parents?"
"Ren and Nora are on their way," Oscar answered.
"And Honey and Luke's parents?" William asked, not using the nicknames because of the seriousness of the matter.
"Blake, Yang, Weiss, and Neptune are on their way as well."
"No Sun?" Jaune asked.
"Team SSSNN are on a mission in Vacuo," Williams said.
"And Mr. Vermillion and Electra?" Glynda asked.
"Taavi's case worker is busy and Daedalus's parents didn't answer the call. . ." Oscar sighed.
"Lovely. Not even checking in. . ." Williams muttered quietly.
"The important thing is that we stopped Cinder with minor injuries. . . mostly. . ." Glynda said, looking uncomfortable.
There was an awkward silence in the air until Williams decided to speak again.
"Speaking of Cinder, are we finally going to talk about the Goliath in the room?"
The tense silence started again until Jaune folded his arms.
"Yeah, we can't just ignore the fact that an old enemy, who has been dead for years, possessed Tessa."
Oscar sighed tiredly. "I wish I knew the answers to that. . . Thankfully, we have the brooch in The Vault."
