Falling Star

After eating dinner, Dara and Alioth returned to their room. Dara lay down on the bed while playing with her cellphone which looked worn out, she saw an incoming call from her mother. Dara was surprised and immediately called her back, finally this time her mother picked up her phone. Her mother asked if Dara is okay and fine there, Dara replied that she was very comfortable living in Tartarus. Her mother was heard chuckling, she was relieved that Dara could adjust because she had never traveled far like this. Her mother then ended their communication, there were still two more days before Dara returned to her hometown. She wanted to enjoy her moments in this land of Tartarus.

After hanging up the phone, Dara saw Alioth was standing waiting for her in front of her bedroom door. Dara also told Alioth to come in, he immediately went into the room and sat on Dara's bed. They also chatted happily throughout the night accompanied by hot chocolate that the maid made for them. Alioth then saw a shooting star through the window, he also told Dara about the shooting star and invited her to look on the outside balcony. The two of them jogged down the halls of the castle. Alioth was seen pushing the big castle door, the door opened and Dara felt the cold night. On the outside, Dara and Alioth saw many shooting stars.

"Do you know Dara? There is a story in Tartarus about shooting stars" asked Alioth excitedly.

"Oh yeah? What's is it?" said Dara curiously.

"My mother always said that if there is a shooting star, it means that someone has been reborn in another world. That's why I am very happy to see a shooting star because I can witness someone being reborn in this world," explained Alioth.

"Wow..." Dara said in awe.

Shooting stars are a common phenomenon in Tartarus, many people believe that shooting stars signify someone reincarnated in this world. This story is a legend that has been passed down for thousands of years.

Alioth and Dara still saw a lot of falling stars in the night sky. Alioth then took her inside because the air was getting cold, Dara agreed and followed Alioth into the castle. Alioth then went to his room because it was late and Dara also went into her room to hurry to sleep.

In the morning, Dara was woken up by the royal maid for breakfast. Dara rushed down to the dining room and sat on a chair, she saw Alioth was not yet in the dining room, she also thought that Alioth had not woken up from his bed. Not long after, Alioth's mother appeared and asked where Alioth was.

"Dara, where is Alioth? Has he not woken up yet?"

"Dara doesn't know Your Majesty, maybe because last night Dara and Alioth saw a shooting star outside the castle until late at night"

"Really? Alright then, let Alioth sleep for a while. Maybe he's still tired."

Alioth's mother also called the maids to take their breakfast. Dara and Alioth's mother were still chatting happily.

"How is your mother, Dara?"

"Mother is in good condition, last night, mother called to ask Dara and Your Majesty. Right now, she is very busy taking care of the two warring kingdoms"

"Oh yeah? What's is it about if I may ask?"

"Dara doesn't know the details but it seems like the land and border issues between the two kingdoms"

"It doesn't seem like a trivial matter. Say hello to your mother, say that next time Alioth and I will visit your beautiful world"

They were still talking about many things, Alioth suddenly appeared. His mother also told him to sit down, Dara saw Alioth was still sleepy, his eyes were still drooping, Dara could only laugh at him. The three of them ate the food on the table that had been prepared earlier. After finishing breakfast, Alioth was seen returning to his room to hurry to take a shower because today he had promised to take Dara to the City Park later, Dara also returned to her room while waiting for Alioth to clean up. Dara rushed to the bathroom to take a shower as well. After bathing, Dara dried her hair and tiny body using a warm towel she took from the cupboard. A knock was heard at Dara's bedroom door, she quickly put on her clothes and immediately opened the door, Alioth was seen standing in front of the room, Dara told her to come in.

"Dara, are you ready?"

"I am ready, I just need to dry my hair."

"Okay, I'll wait downstairs with Mother"

Dara is seen still drying her hair in her room, she stands in front of the mirror holding a hairdryer in her hand, she rubs her limp hair with a towel in her left hand. After her hair was dry, Dara then tied her blonde hair and rushed downstairs to meet Alioth. Downstairs, Alioth was waiting for her in front of the castle door accompanied by his mother, Dara approached Alioth. They walked to the front door and hurried into the horse-drawn carriage that was already visible outside. Alioth and Dara sat where they sat yesterday. The carriage was running, Alioth was seen waving slowly towards his mother who was standing in front of the palace door, Dara was also waving at her.

On the way to City Park, Alioth and Dara were still talking about last night, about a shooting star. She was curious whether the phenomenon of shooting stars often happened here or not because she rarely saw shooting stars in her world, Dara also planned to ask Alioth's mother about the story she heard last night.

Arriving at the City Park, the two of them got off and stepped into the park. It looks crowded, many people visit this place, there are also many small children running here and there. Alioth also invited her to sit somewhere, Dara saw that there was already food and a place to sit in the middle of the park, the maids had prepared all of this. Alioth seemed to be sitting there leisurely while taking out a small snack from a medium-sized basket beside him, many people were looking at him but he didn't seem to care. He gave Dara a meat sandwich and chili sauce, Dara took the sandwich from Alioth's hand and ate it.

Time passed quickly, it was getting late, they were so busy chatting that they forgot the time. Many people started to leave this park. Alioth also cleaned up the food and cushions, he seemed to put them in the basket. Dara is seen helping Alioth and throwing trash into the trash can near the bench in the corner of the park.

"Dara, thank you for today. I haven't been here for a long time with Mother"

"It's no problem  Alioth, I came here to visit you"

"Oh yeah Dara, if you don't mind do you want to accompany me to meet my friend?"

"I don't mind at all but isn't it too late? I'm afraid your mother is worried"

"I already told Mom this morning, so I guess it's okay"

"Okay, so where are you going to meet them?"

"Near the Gate of Dusk, the tall gate you saw yesterday. My friend is a descendant of the Underworlds and they live in the city of Mitclan, the city for the Underworld people"

"Oh well, I think we should hurry then, your friend will be waiting hahaha"

The two of them got into the horse carriage, Alioth told the coachman to go to the Gate of Dusk before returning to the palace. The coachman agreed and took his horse-drawn carriage there.
