For the whole week, I avoided Roland. I couldn't face him after what happened on Saturday. "Did you guys break up or something?" Ashley asked me. I replied, "No, not yet, but it might happen soon." I was sure he would, and I was not gonna blackmail him for it this time.

On Saturday morning, I got a text from Ashley

Ashley: Are you busy?

Me: Not really...

Ashley: You are coming with me to the mall.

Me: I don't feel like it

Ashley: I don't care, you need a fun day to cheer you up.

Me: fine...

Ashley: I will be there in five minutes, so you better get ready fast. ;)

I sprang up and got ready quickly. I went downstairs and put some bread in the toaster. As I was putting it on a plate, Ashley rang the doorbell.

"Hey, is that toast?"

"Yup"

While walking to the mall, we munched on the toast. (Now this is my definition of fun,) I thought.

We were looking around, and Ashley got so distracted by an entire aisle of "cute" dresses, I sighed. I wasn't really into this stuff. While she gushed over tiny skirts, I went over to the jeans rack to pick out something moderately nice.

I flipped through the hangers one by one, then I saw one I thought was okay. I opened to it, and I saw Roland's face peeking out!

"We need to talk."

I immediately slammed the jeans back into place. (This is not real, It's all in my head.) I re-opened the rack, and he was still there, doing his classical smirk!

what do I do?

Run! no, hide? no time to think! I sprinted into a close-by changing room. (well, yeah, brain that's definitely NOT emberassing )

I heard a knock on the door. "Are you changing? You didn't bring clothes in there."

"What's it to you?" I snapped.

"Please, can we just talk?"

"Fine, but this door is staying closed."

"Listen, Liliana, I can't anymore."

"Fine, you can leave me. I don't care anymore."

"Ok I was thinking of getting back together with my ex."

"You have an ex?"

I was on the verge of crying at this point

"Yeah, of course I do!"

I went silent for a minute. Then I opened the door.

"Does she still love you?"

"Well, I'm about to find out."

He leaned in to kiss me. And this time I let him.

It was the most wonderful moment, bells were ringing, fireworks were popping, and angels were singing.

When he finally pulled away, I felt dizzy. "So, does this mean we are together now?"

"If you want"

I giggled, "I would like that"

"Well then," He smirked again, I actually thought of it cute this time, and then he picked me up and kissed me again.

(Oh here we go again,) I thought, (SHUT UP ANGELS!!!!!)
