It had been a normal day in dreamtale while dream was playing with the villagers nightmare was guarding the tree of feelings no matter how bad the villagers treated him he never told his brother dream or left the tree since one of them must be there when the other is away
The villagers had came to get dream one of them said 'come on dream let's go play'after a lot of insistence from the villagers he finally went with them even tho dream had promised nightmare to stay with him
Nightmare pov
The villagers took dream with them but at this time something's gonna happen I have a bad feeling about one of these days for a fact
Or maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me but doesn't hurt to be careful
Nightmare then climbed the tree knowing if they took dream with themselves one of them must come here to probably attack him because of these things happening often he had developed a habit of climbing the tree to protect himself when dream is not with him he would either come out if it was to protect the apples or when dream gets back no other reason
Nobody's pov
It was around midnight dream had come back when nightmare asked why he took so long dream told him that one of the villagers had invited him to dinner
It was expected of the villagers all they thought of nightmare was that he was manipulating dream because he was the guardian of negativity and like that another day had passed for nightmare at least
