Chapter 9: Missing

Recap: "Ugh is Chica, let's just hurry, get these generators and back to Freddy before we get caught." He says while running, I guess it was his turn to pull me along, he's too fast for me to keep up so I'm practically just being dragged.

Is Moony okay now? I hope that wasn't too mean... I'll apologize if I see him again...

Now: I watched Gregory's face twist from fear to a smile. I'm not so sure if I should be worried or smile too.

Looking behind me I saw Chica, she looked so broken and sad...but if it wasn't for her chasing us and trying to kill us I would've felt worse about her.

We kept running until we found a room littered in sticky Notes, some had numbers, shaky writing, and since pictures too. Gregory looked uncomfortable with this room so I tugged his arm to keep moving.

"C'mon! We have to go before she gets in here!" I shouted at him, but he seemed frozen, I kept tugging him when I heard footsteps behind me.

"Y/n~ you've be busy~?" A glitchy lady's voice spoke to me, I recognized it from earlier.... Bunny lady.

"N-Not really... I'm just following Gregory..." I said quietly as I turned to look up at the tall rabbit lady.

"Give him to me little y/n, and I'll let you live." She said as she held out a paw to me, I just hugged Gregory's arm for comfort.

"No... He's the only human kid here besides me! We need each other..." I shouted at the lady, she seemed surprised at the sudden courage boost.

We just stared at each other, Gregory seemed to be coming to his senses slowly....just gotta get us out of here!

She took a step towards us which sent panic through me, I pulled Gregory with me as I sprinted as fast as I could, hearing her run after us.

"Y/n? Why are we running?" Gregory asked as we were now running upstairs, I couldn't hear the rabbit lady anymore but just to be safe I had to keep running.

"Rabbit." Just a simple answer and he nodded with understanding.

We reached the top and when we opened the doors....there was Moon. Standing there. I stared at him with conflicting feelings, hugging Gregory's arm again. Moon held up a hand for me but Gregory held me tightly to him.

"She's not going with you. Who knows when you'll glitch out again." His words were laced with anger...I don't know why though....

"She's safer with me than with you, Naughty boy." Moon growled out, causing me to flinch.

"You're scaring her. Calm down." Gregory said quietly as he petted my hair...it felt nice.

I pushed Gregory off and slowly walked towards Moon, now that I was getting closer I noticed that he had hidden his left hand behind his back...

"Careful now..." Moon said as he fists at Gregory, looking behind me.

I stopped walking and looked back at Gregory, seeing him look so angry and scared at the same time...I smiled to reassure him and I grabbed Moon's hand. Moon reveals his hidden hand with the plushie I threw in it.

I carefully grabbing it and hugged it.

"You're okay now.... Right?" I asked him while taking a step back to give him space.... And to give myself a chance to run if needed...

Moon nodded and I give a relieved sigh, Gregory seemed to calm down too.

"I'm sorry Moony! I don't really hate you I only said that so that you'd let go..." I hugged him and he held me back. He smells like the actual night sky... So calming....

Gregory started walked and I let go of Moon to follow, I was expecting to go alone buuuut Moon was following.

A few minutes of speed walking later we made it back to Freddy's place but it was empty, Freddy was missing....

I've got a bad feeling...
