                CHAPTER TWELVE

    Alice got to the swimming pool and saw her fellow colleagues putting their things back in order. She spotted Cynthia with some bunch of girls at the corner giggling and celebrating, shouting out cheers to snake house and all connecting their cans of soft drink together before taking it to their lips and taking a sip. She saw Nancy giving Cynthia a high five. Upon seeing Alice, their smiles turned into laughter like she looked funny.

There was a deep scowl etched into Alice features that seemed to turn into hatred as she approached the bunch of she devils. Because of these two fools, she landed herself  in a lot of trouble. She missed the swimming competition and got zero point for the famous ostrich house. Her house members will never forgive her for this. And she's now in deep trouble with Raymond. He's going to think that she's cheating on him.

Alice hurtled towards the small party group, ignoring their mocking laughter. She stopped in front of Cynthia, glaring angrily at her. Cynthia found that moment amusing and burst into laughter, which made Alice sick in the stomach.

Alice glared at Cynthia fiercely, her body shaking with anger. When she saw an evil and taunting smirk dancing on Cynthia's lips, she couldn't contain herself. Alice slapped Cynthia hard on her triumphantly smiling face. Cynthia grimaced, holding her cheek, which felt like a steaming iron was placed on it. Her eyes welled up with tears due to the pain. Cynthia lurched towards het but was immediately pushed to the ground by Alice, earning a lot of gasps and shrieks from the now gathered crowd. Alice grabbed Nancy's wrist tightly and pulled her out of the swimming pool area without saying a word. She kept pulling her behind her, even after they exited the corridors and were heeding towards the clinic.

Nancy shoved Alice hand like she was chasing a fly.

"You are nasty, Nancy. How could you stoop so low? You are a crazy bitch! People like you are not supposed to be allowed to roam the streets freely. You are supposed to be locked up in a zoo," Alice yelled throwing her hands in the air like a frustrated raccoon.

Nancy throws her head back and laughed amusedly. She gazed at Alice, her pupil dilating. "You know I don't like it when you act all heroic and tough? If you'd stayed away from Raymond like I had asked, none of these would have happened," her facial expression remained emotionless.

Alice rolled her eyes and walked in front of her, her face fuming with anger. "First of all, Raymond isn't your boyfriend. He hates everything about you. Even the view of your face makes his blood boil. But you are always throwing yourself at him like a fucking slut. You are a shameless idiot. Such a disgrace to girls!" If looks could kill, Nancy would be dead by now because Alice was practically killing her with her stormy eyes.

Nancy shrugs her pointed shoulder casually like she doesn't have a worry in this world. "You are a stranger who came to my country and stole my boyfriend. You met us together you snitch! I have been in love with Raymond for the past four years. Why does your sudden arrival have to mess up everything I tried hard to get? Just go back to where you came from".

"Fucking hell, you are absolutely crazy, you know that right!" Alice shout in frustration. "I am no fucking stranger and I'm going no where. Let me remind you of some important facts. Raymond is my cousin and this is my damn country since I have a family here and also an indigene. So get this in that dull thick head of yours!" Crazy is an understatement if you describe her right now.

Nancy's heart pained with the thought of never getting the love of her life. "You stay away from what is mine and peace will reign. I promise not to bug or bully you again as long as you adhere to my words", her eyes soften.
