OLIVIA hesitated at first. Love Island was not something that she wanted to be apart off... she was a viewer, she had sleepovers with her best mates... but being apart of the actual series had never crossed her mind before.... at least not until she revived a dm from one of the casting directions, and suddenly, her life was changed forever. People knew who she was because of Mason, but now, they actually wanted to know who she was because of herself. She remembered the last time before she handed her phone to the producers... her following had gone up to 30k on Instagram. She was an influencer, but one of a small scale.
The producers had wanted Olivia to be the first female bombshell of the series. It was intimidating because she had to live up to the public's expectations of her, after they had seen the likes of Maura Higgins and Chloe Burrows. They already formed an opinion of her when they watched her introductory video.
Olivia was dressed in a black dress and she looked gorgeous. She stood in front of the villa in Majorca, and she could have sworn that the other bombshell next to her - Denis? Derek - David - had stared at her tits longer than needed. He was confidant in himself, how could he not be when he looked like an actual Greek God. The producers had given them the go ahead to enter, and Olivia felt a sudden rush of confidence enter her body.
She knew her reasons for being part of the show... she wanted to be someone other than just Mason Mount's younger sister, and Love Island was just a stepping stone. From the seven seasons that they had thus far, there were only a little under ten couples still together so Olivia didn't have much hope in the love department. She cared about her identity and that was her main priority. Neon lights and signs lit up the walls, cushions of bright colours neatly decorated on the sofas and even when they walked outside to the garden area, everything was filled in bright colours.
"Hey, everyone! Mind if we crash the party?" She was cringe, her voice more posh than usual. She put of her vest facade and from the looks on the islanders faces, it worked. Did anyone order an Italian snack?" Davide asked from beside her. Olivia resisted the urge to snicker. Davide was definitely going to be interesting to live with. The islanders had soon overcome their initial shock and walked over to the new bombshells to greet them.A tall, pale and lightly-stubbled guy walked over to her. He was attractive in a cute, secondary school crush manner, but Olivia did not feel an immediately spark toward him.
She had met Ikenna and Dami - they were hilarious - and Liam... who looked quite young for his age. Olivia recognised one of the female islanders - Gemma Owen, she was Michael Owen's daughter, and they ran in the same social circles. And she also met the rest of the girls. The boys had all had a trait in them that Olivia founded attractive. Ikenna was tall, Dami's Irish accent made Olivia's insides flutter, Andrew was a complete gentleman, and Liam had the most gorgeous smile ever. The last boy... Lucas? Luke? He had been the one to completely catch Olivia's eyes. He was quite short compared to her usual size - maybe he was 6ft or 5'9 - but he had striking blue eyes and tattoos.
