Katsu had taken the night off again, agreeing to let Ebisu take her out at least for a couple of drinks at the bar.  It had been a pleasant night: they had laughed over plum wine and had shared kisses in a dark corner booth.  Being with someone had never been this much fun and he couldn't believe his good fortune, having such an amazing lover and partner.

They left as the bar closed, laughing in the dark as they headed back toward her cottage.  Ebisu pulled her into the darkened Senju park as they passed, leading her to a dark bench away from the possibility of prying eyes. He sat down and she climbed into his lap, kissing him deeply.

"I need you right now."

He was practically salivating as he reached down and freed himself from his pants.

"Fuck me, Kat."

She moved her panties to the side, quickly sinking onto him. She rode him quickly and roughly, moaning quietly into his ear.

He squeezed her ass in his hands as he moved her hips over his cock, He had never had sex in a public park, and he was enjoying the dangerous excitement of it, even though there was no one around.

"I'm coming... I'm coming..."

She moaned in his ear as she came on his cock, making him explode as well. He filled her as he kissed her passionately. She collapsed against his chest, caressing his face with a warm, soft hand. Her breath was warm in his ear.

"You're so warm inside of me. It's wonderful. Let's go home."

They kissed slowly and gently once more before putting themselves back together, But, they only walked a few feet before a voice growled from the bushes.

"You're the same slut you've always been."

Katsu stopped and he felt a small shiver go through her body.

Something was very wrong.

"Leave us alone, Tor."

The voice that came from her lips was small and scared.  A shadowy figure stepped out, holding something long and thin in his hand, chuckling menacingly.

"You knew I'd be back for you, Love. I had to be on my best behavior to get to you. I came back to finally take you as my bride. And here you aew, fucking someone else.  No one leaves me, but you knew that."

"We're finished.  I came here to start over. Away from you. Years ago."

She squeezed Ebisu's hand, clearly terrified. Ebisu was going to have to take this guy out-

"No, don't step in front of her. Don't try to be the hero.  This has nothing to do with you. Run along, Fuckboy.  She's already going to have to pay for her sins with you-"

"Fuck off.  Katsu is my partner."

He heard the figure sigh.

"Kat, are you really going to make me kill this guy? I didn't want things to get messy. Did you tell him how much of a slut you are?"

"I'm not-"

"You are. You pedal smut. I know you own a morally questionable store. Don't you get that I came here to save you? Come home with me, Katsu. I'll make you an honest woman and you can make me heirs finally.  I won;t let you be the one that got away-"

"I'd rather die than go with you. Fuck off, Tor."

Tor lifted the thing in his hand and Ebisu quickly realized that it was a bow.

 Tor. Tor the Archer.

Fuck.

"Move!"

In one lightning fast move, he pushed Katsu to the ground and call his jutsu.

"FIRE DRAGON BULLET!"

The jutsu had barely left his lips and fingers when he felt a sharp pain in the right side of his neck and shoulder. Although he flew backwards, he was able to shoot off an impressive flame, even he had to admit it, covering a massive space in the park.

He heard an agonizing, panicked scream come from withing the fireball. He had hit his target. But he quickly realized that he was in trouble. A warm wetness was coming from his shoulder and he was having trouble focusing.  He was bleeding out.

"EBISU!"

He felt her scramble next to him. She was safe.  She hadn't been hurt in the attack.

"Shit, we need to get out of here! Ebisu! Stay awake!"

He wanted to, but he couldn't. He felt her sweater around his neck, and her hands applying pressure. And... all he could do was smile. The bright flames were illuminating her panicked. He had hurt the man who had hurt her. She was safe.

She was becoming ethereal, the illumination circling her like a halo. She looked broken, but he wasn't sure why. She was becoming more heavenly. He could hear someone screaming in the distance, but why would someone be screaming?

"EBISU! EBISU!"

She was screaming his name. He watched her beautiful face, which was crying sparking diamonds. She was literally sparkling; becoming the goddess he already knew she was. He had set her free. He had to tell her one more thing before she left.

"I love you."

The words wouldn't come out of his mouth as sound, but she was a goddess, so he knew she understood them. She spilled her diamonds all over his face, blessing him as she held him. She was talking, but there was no more sound. And then, suddenly, he faintly heard a song. As he closed his eyes, he listened to her hum gently to him. She was taking him to her ethereal place...

"FIRE DRAGON BULLET!"

As Tor lifted his bow, Ebisu annihilated him in a fiery blaze. But not before the man unleashed his arrow, lodging itself into the side of Ebisu's neck. She watched as he flew backwards, his glasses flying from his face as he landed on the ground.

"EBISU!"

He was bleeding around the arrow still stuck in his neck. His breathing was labored. He coughed and blood flew from his mouth. She took off her sweater and wrapped it around his bleeding neck. Pulling his bandana off, she stroked his hair with her free hand.

"Hang on, Baby. Don't leave me."

His deep green eyes were becoming glassy, although he was struggling to focus on her. He wasn;t going to make it. He was dying in her arms. And he mouthed words to her that made her sob.

'I love you.'

She heard voices screaming, coming closer, but it didn't matter. She needed this final moment with Ebisu.

"I love you too, Ebi-kun. I never thought I'd find love, but I found you. And now I have to let you go. I'm so in love with you. It's not fair..."

She picked up his heavy body, cradling him against her chest. The sweater around his neck was soaked with blood, but she tried to hold pressure on his wound to keep him awake, to ebb the loss of blood. Listening to his shallow breathing she kissed his forehead over and over, nuzzling him as her tears splashed against his face.  She hummed a sweet song to him, making sure he knew he was loved in his last few moments as she listened to the help that was coming too late.
