It was a bright day and the cherry blossoms in my yard were in full bloom, I sighed, I had to get ready for school. It was the first day all over again but not like before all at once because this was my first day in college, of course, I had gone to other training schools before but this was different, this was my dream school... Years ago me and my best friends Zane and Alistair promised we would go to T.A.F.H (training academy for heroes-most people are born with extension/powers that fit their personality few people get various extensions, Sage, Zane, and Alistair have various extensions)that is before Alistair and Zane moved. . . Anyways what time is it? I checked my phone, 11:56 ... wait, 11:56?!??!? I've got to go!

"I can't believe I'm going to be late for my first class! Ugh!" I grumbled.

I grabbed my bag and as soon s I got out of my house I broke into a run. I had made sure to buy a house near my school but there were only 4 minutes until class and it was on the top floor! I rushed to the elevator and just about when the door was going to close a hand stops it, Oh no 12;01! In instinctively I pulled the person in and closed the door.

"Hey!" said a tall guy with a husky voice,

Not looking at his face I said, " I'm sorry I don't have time, I'm late!"

"Well, why didn't you get here on time? It's not my fault you are late, I left my friends down there..." he said sounding pretty peeved. I blushed out of embarrassment.

"Aren't you late too?" I asked genuinely curious and kind of frustrated because he was probably late too and had said all that.

" No I'm a senior, we are at lunch, you'd think the freshman would be on time after being allowed to start late today, I guess not" He had a point but I couldn't help but want to contradict him...

I finally looked up to see deep red hair and sapphire eyes that seemed fairly familiar..." I- W-well I was thinking! I get lost in my thoughts pretty often..." I say slightly blushing.

Suddenly he is in front of me with a mischievous smirk on his face, " What's with the stuttering? Falling for me already?" he says jokingly with a glint in his eye, " I'm just playing with you Sage."

He looked equally as shocked as I did, I was beet red at this point but when he said my name it sounded too familiar, I swear I've seen him somewhere...

"Sorry, Sorry! It's just you remind me of someone I used to know, we promised to come here together so I guess I just thought you were them...", he promised to come here with someone too? And they have my name? Can it be him? No Alistair moved... I have to ask though...

"A-Alistair?" I asked wearily.

The red-head who was still in front of me but was blushing and looking elsewhere turned his attention to me again but slowly and when I saw his face it was screaming out various emotions, curiosity, joy, and excitement. He looked like a puppy who just found its owner. Of course, my first reaction was to go into mother mode, "Aww Alistair you look so cute and grown-up now!"

"What's with the change in attitude?" he asked jokingly, " Can't take my handsomeness for any longer? I don't blame you" He winks and I swat him.

"You haven't changed a bit, still as childish as ever," I say pouting playfully.

He hovered over me, "You sure?" he says in a seductive voice, he looked serious... oh nooooooo, I could feel myself getting hotter by the second. Then he suddenly bursts out into laughter leaving me confused.

"You think I'm like that? Seriously?" I blush even more, I didn't know blushing so much was possible but I sensed it was only gonna get worse... " We just met up again and we are in an elevator I'd at least get to know you again and then and only the flirt but in a better location." he winked " so don't worry Mia Farfallina" he smirks and almost as if on cue the elevator dinged and he exited, turned and said, "By the way, I put my contact on your phone already, Ciao!" with that he walked away as if he had accomplished something amazing.
