That One Friend Group: Redemption

Break starts and I give an order to Chase to tell the others that I'll be in detention.

I went down to the class that was being used for detention and walked in, of course, I wasn't alone. This time it wasn't Isa in here, but it was Harry, honestly give me Isa.

I walk past him swiftly and go to a seat on the far side of the class, not even making eye-contact so he doesn't become the next Isa.

I just need to hope the teacher doesn't leave.

We have my favourite teacher watching us, Miss Bambi, who Harry and I literally just had last period but hey, not complaining, she's the best!

She didn't order us to do anything so I just kinda sat there the whole time, she was just doing stuff on her computer and I was really hoping she wouldn't have to go get something from the office or that.

While we were sitting down, I started hearing commotion outside, it's literally eleven am.

Harry, who was sat right beside the window which looks out to the hall, peaked through. "Sit down, Harry." Miss Bambi told him, he sat back down with a smirk, that's when I knew something had to be up.

"Can I go to the toilet, pleaseeee?" Harry asked, Miss Bambi knew what he was doing and smartly told him. "No."

I was actually curious what was going on because I heard Ace and Jaden, so little did Harry know, I had an advantage. "Can I go please, you know for like girl reasons."

Miss Bambi let me go and I walked out, winking at Harry, I love using that excuse.

I ran down the corridor to find Ace and Jaden screaming at Asher with Chris near them, crying. "What's going on guys?" I asked, awfully confused.

Jaden looked at Asher. "This things, being a little douche." I rolled my eyes, "When isn't he???"

Chris came over. "I'll explain what happened." He sighed heavily before explaining.

Chris's POV

10 minutes earlier.

When our class ended, I saw Asher run out the class, where's he going? We were gonna try and go to the shop down the road and back in 15 minutes cause it seemed fun.

So, I started to chase after him, but he was completely out of sight, where is he???

I went down the main stairs and out the main doors, maybe he just ran ahead?

I headed towards the front gate of the school and walked past the bike shed, not even realising he was there. I noticed him at the corner of my eye so I walked back, only to see what I have nightmares about.

Asher looked at me with a smirk while I stood there so confused, but then, he did it, he kissed Amelia.

Why? Why'd he do it? He was meant to be my bestfriend. He is my best friend. The only person who's ever cared for me.

She looked at me innocently, while Asher just stood there with a dirty grin. "What? You upset I kissed your little crush? I've never liked you Chris, Isa dared me to be your best friend."

I felt my heart sank, but I turned around and walked away, flipping Asher off in the process. I didn't even realise Amelia slap him.

I ran back inside to try find some of the Boyz.

Amelia came running over to me from behind and hugged me. "I didn't know he was gonna do that, he just told me to follow him."

I smiled against her. "Chris." She started. "Mhm." I replied. "I'm sorry about him, you deserve better than the "friends" you have, you're an amazing guy, you really are." She continued, making me blush a wee bit.

I don't remember the last time someone called me amazing! Ahhh!

She looked at me peacefully and I was soooo tempted to pull a Isa and Jordan right now but I couldn't, wayyy too soon.

Instead I took her inside with me and I went to find the rest of the boys, I found Jaden and Ace and I told them what happened, trying not to break down infront of them.

They looked at each other. "hmm, the part about him never liking you doesn't seem true, at all." Jaden stated. "Yeah, he sounding' a bit sus." Ace replied.

Just then we saw Asher, he came walking in with the biggest smile ever. "Go sit in the social area." Jaden told me, I nodded and went to sit in the closest seat to them.

"Imma go find Ivy and that, I'll see you next class!" Amelia explained, I nodded slowly and gave her a faint smile. awh why doesnt she wanna stay.

"Starker!" Jaden called to get Asher's attention, Asher noticed and looked at them while Jaden wagged his index finger, telling him to come here.

I saw Asher's eyes roll as he approached them.

They started to argue, and Asher wouldn't stop talking about how he hates me and how annoying and stupid and weird I am. I have never felt more backstabbed, ever.

"And then you came over, and that's that." I finished my story, Jordan death stared Asher.

"Why would you ever do that? I knew you were mean but would you for real do that to someone? Someone who's opened up to you and cared about you so much?" She got close up to him.

He shrugged at her. "You know, he cared for you way more than your mum ever did, and to be fair, I don't blame her for not loving you, who does?" She continued.

Asher clicked his tongue. "You did not. just bring up my mum." Jordan smirked at him. "I think I did actually."

He stood there speechless for a moment. "Sorry but the truth hurts." She smiled sarcastically at him.

Then all you heard from Ace was, "Truth hurts, needed something more exciting, bom bom bi bom bi dum dum, ay." He sang. "Sorry, I love Lizzo." He coughed, trying to stop the awkwardness.

"Jordan." Asher turned the situation back to seriousness. "What?" She crossed her arms at him. "You wanna 1v1?" He asked her, she smiled. "I've wanted to 1v1 you ever since you kicked me out of your house, just because I wanted to make sure he lived!" She pointed to me.

"Ugh, don't bring that up!" He told her. I've never heard of this, huh?

"What you mean?" I asked Jordan, she looked at Asher and laughed. "Aw you never told him." She sarcastically pouted.

She briefly told me everything, I looked down, trying to hide the water started to form in my eyes. "I didn't tell him because I don't want to be reminded that I dated You." He told her.

Jordan nodded her head. "Same here, I don't know why I dated you, I think it was probably to get to your hot step-brother."

Asher chuckled. "Did you just call Isa hot?" Jordan nodded seriously. "Yeah, I mean, he is your step-brother, right?"

Wow she is bravveeeee.

"Who called me hot, what?" Isa came over, great.

Asher told isa was he done to me and they both laughed. "Oh also, Jordan said your hot." He told him, Jordan seemed unbothered.

"I mean, she aint lying." Isa smirked and then whispered something to Asher again. "Oh yeah yeah yeah, sound." Was all we heard from Asher.

"What?" Jordan asked them. "Oh nothing, nothing you have to worry about princess." Isa rubbed her cheek and she slapped his hand off. "Don't touch me, brings back traumatising memories."

He laughed. "What of detention?" He asked and she nodded. "Aren't you meant to be in detention?" Jaden asked.

"OH!" She screamed. "Jordan West!" I heard Miss Bambi's annoying Spanish voice call.

Jordan ran past us all and ran away into a stairwell. "Thats the last we're gonna see of her for today." Ace said.
