You didn't have much time left so you dove into the left cavern, clutching onto your satchel tightly as you slid on slippery rock. You could not believe what was happening to you. You were sliding on what appeared to be a giant stalactite! As you waited for the fall to come to a crash, you were surprised when you landed on something soft. Or rather someone.

You opened your eyes to see an unconscious Emily, laying on...a pile of gold coins? You did not notice when Emily had opened her eyes until she got up with a smile. She then proceeded to push you and to your surprise you slid down into another pile of gold. She followed after you with an enthusiastic, "Whee!" You couldn't believe your eyes. You managed to find your friend and the treasure! It was pure luck.

"Be sure to take some photos, Sherlock!" Emily reminded you.

You were fast to do as she said. Clicking with passion. She helped you load a few pounds of gold into your bag when you noticed a rather bright red gleam come from under a small piece of coins and gems towards a corner of the cave. Emily was too busy looking at the photos you had previously taken to notice. The light seemed to get brighter the closer you approached it. As you brushed off the gems and gold you saw it was a huge ruby. The size of your fist, and whole! You didn't think twice to pick it up. In doing so you could see the large rock was hiding something, so you lifted the rock a little higher. It looked to have been the end of a burnt rope. You still had your knife on you, so if you were to find where the rope connected to, then you could cut more than enough to help the two of you escape.

As you pondered on what you should do, you placed the large rock into your satchel, placing it gently within your squishy shoe. You then picked up the rope and tugged on it slightly. You were startled when the rumbling sensation from earlier returned. You were nearly thrown off balance with the shaking that followed. Emily began to scream and the orange glow that lit the caves went out. You both were in the darkness. As Emily panicked you searched your satchel blindly. Feeling past the coins, for your knife and night camera. You felt something touch your elbow and you moved forward, with your other hand extended, trying to find a wall. You could hear Emily start to scream somewhere to your left. You had to come up with something quickly. What should you do? You thought about it, you needed some time and fast! You could still feel the rope with your naked feet. The last time you tugged on it, it seemed to be connected to something. What if you were to Pull the Rope? The darkness came after you pulled it along with the rumbling. Who knows? You were already trapped to begin with!

You felt a hand wrap around your arm, nearly startling you into falling.

"Don't Do It." Emily uttered to you. Her breath was stale, it was making you nauseous as the air around you felt like it was getting heavier, and heavier. Beads of sweat form in great big balls of moisture along your brow. It took you a bit to regain your footing. The crying returned, it was in the same cavern as you, it was louder. It sounded like a baby in agony, you could feel your blood turning cold. You had no choice but to...
