While Rhody makes sure all the people board the Helicarrier, the Avengers, me, and the Maximoffs gather around the key to make sure none of the minion bots get to it.

"You two good?" Pietro asks Wanda and I.

"Yeah."

I smile at him. "Great."

"Romanoff?" Mr. Stark asks. "You and Banner better not be playing 'hide the zucchini.'"

I rub my head. "Ew. I need to disinfect my brain now."

"Relax, Shell-head. Not all of us can fly." Natasha runs into the church with the rest of us. "What's the drill?"

Mr. Stark points to the Vibranium core. "This is the drill. If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose."

Ultron lands several hundred feet away from us.

"Is that the best you can do?" Thor yells at him.

Ultron summons his army of hundreds of robots to join him.

Steve looks at Thor. "You had to ask."

Ultron spreads his hands. "This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, against all of me. How could you possibly hope to stop me?"

"Well, like the old man said. Together," Tony says.

The minion bots charge at us and start climbing on the building. The Hulk roars. I tear the bots in half, Wanda blasts them back, Thor arcs lightning down, Mr. Stark shoots his repulsors, Clint shoots trick arrows, Natasha electrocutes with her batons, Vision flies around, bashing bots into the walls; Steve slices with his shield, Pietro runs around destroying, and Hulk smashes.

Vision, Thor, and Mr. Stark all take on Ultron while the rest of us protect the key. The minion bots stop attacking and I run outside just in time to see Ultron's demolished body. He tries to stand up. "You know, with the benefit of hindsight—" Ultron begins to say, but is cut off when Hulk punches him, sending him flying through the air.

All the minion bots stand around, unsure what to do now that their master has been punched into oblivion. Hulk turns around to face them with a scowl. All the bots quickly retreat and Hulk roars and chases after them.

"They'll try to leave the city," Thor says.

"We can't let 'em, not even one," Mr. Stark says. "Rhodey!"

"I'm on it."

Steve turns to address the whole team. "We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats, I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you."
