It was a sunny day. The heat of the sun beaming on Sun-hee as she was messing around with I-sak and On-jo. When they saw Cheong-san and Gyeong-su walking. The three girl approached the boys. On-jo shoved Cheong-san's shoulder causing him to drop his phone, that he was using. "Damn, my phone!" the boy exclaimed. "What the hell!" he yelled as he picked it up checking to see if it was broken in anyway.
"You can't run away" On-jo said plainly. "Hey gopher, let's get some chicken" she ordered as she took off her bag and handed it to Cheong-san who was still inspecting his phone. "But were not open yet" he said confused.
"Liar, your mom told us she was testing out a new recipe today" interjected Sun-hee. At this Gyeong-su hit the boy beside him, as he let out a grunt at the impact. "You're going, right" asked On-jo to Gyeong-su.
"Of course" he said with a smile on his face. The two boy turned to I-sak with wondering looks on their faces "Are you going too?" Cheong-san asked. I-sak let out a hum "I mean your mom told On-jo to bring her friends" she explain looking over to one of her best friends.
"Uh, so is this a double-date?" Gyeong-su asked gesturing to him, I-sak, Cheong-san, and On-jo. Sun-hee approached him and slapped him in the head, causing him to clutch the spot she hit.
"Idiot, I'm still here you know! Gosh, it's like i'm invisible nowadays" Sun-hee muttered the last part. I-sak grabbed the two girls and led them with her as they left the two boys behind.
"Weird, we're not open today" Cheong-san wondered out loud. "What do you know? Let's get out of here" Gyeong-su said as he walked behind the three talking girls.

The five students, mostly Gyeong-su, started hollering in joy as Mrs. Lee brought out two plated of chicken. "It looks delicious Mrs. Lee" Sun-hee complimented the woman as she turned her attention to the food infront of her.
"Why'd you bring out so much?" Cheong-san asked his mother. "Ah, remember On-jo and Sun-hee eat alot" she explained as she turned to her son. "I don't eat alot i just eat well" On-jo explained while Sun-hee said "I'm not going to deny it, I love food" earning a chuckle from Mrs. Lee.
"Eat up Gyeong-su, you too A-sak" encouraged Mrs. Lee. Sun-hee almost spit out the chicken that was in her mouth, instead choking on it catching the attention of Cheong-san. "Sun-hee, you ok? Here" he said passing her a glass of water. She continued coughing as she grabbed the water.
"It's I-sak, not A-sak" I-sak said to the elder woman. "You changed your name?" she asked confused. Sun-hee hid her smile by pretending to continue drinking the water. "Mom, if you want to change names you should start with the restaurant. Why are you using my name?"
"I named it Cheong-san Chicken way before you were born" retorted Mrs. Lee "Exactly you named me after the restaurant. I don't like- " he was cut off by Sun-hee.
"I think it's really cute" she said. She could see Cheong-san's face turn the slightest bit of pink. "See! Sun-hee think's its great" Mrs. Lee said.
"No it's not, it's embarrassing. Yah! Sun-hee, don't encourage her" Cheong-san sighed, annoyed at the two teaming up on him.
"Aish, be quiet. I really like it, sounds like a tradition" Gyeong-su joined. "Look, so this is a new recipe we came up with. So this one is just a little spicy, and this ones really hot" Mrs. Lee explained, pointing at the two plates of chicken "What do you think? Y- you can be completely honest with me" she stuttered.
"It's super crazy mad good" Gyeong-su mumbled. Sun-hee's face formed a grimace "Yah, Gyeong-su, don't talk with food in your mouth. Disgusting" she scolded "But i agree though, it's really good" she complimented.
"On-jo. What do you think? Is it too hot?" asked Mrs. Lee turning to the girl. She looked hesitant but eventually answered "It's salty". Mrs. Lee's smile dropped, forming a frown. "Yeah? ... Oh"
"What about this one, is it spicy?" she asked pointing to the other plate of food "No, it's salty" On-jo repeated. Mrs. Lee's face formed a confused expression as she said to herself "Wait, a sec that's not.."
"Honey! She says its salty!" Mrs. Lee yelled to her husband who was in the kitchen. "I don't think it's salty" mumbled I-sak.
"Stop eating. It's salty" Cheong-san said as he grabbed the coke near him. "It still tastes good" On-jo replied. Cheong-san didn't show any effort to show he heard her as he gave drinks to everyone.
"God, you two argue like an old couple" Sun-hee complained rolling her eyes. The two friends eyes widened as they immediately started scolding her for calling them a couple. Sun-hee sat eating her chicken as she ignored all their yelling.
"Did you hear about out science teacher" I-sak suddenly spoke up. "What about him?" asked Sun-hee, intrigued as to why the girl was bringing this up.
"He smells like a rotten corpse" she continued, while shoving a spoon of chicken in her mouth. "Oh, Na-yeon spread that rumor right?" Cheong-san joined in. Sun-hee's face formed into a scowl at the mention of her name. Sun-hee didn't really like Na-yeon. She bullied people jsut because she thought they were below her. In other words she was a fucking bitch.
"It's true. He was absent when his son went missing. But then he came into class ... she said he smelled like a rotting corpse" On-jo backed up I-sak.
"Wait, wait, wait. How does that girl even know what a corpse smells like? Has she killed someone before?" Sun-hee objected. Cheong-san nodded agreeing with the girl.
"I swear she knows every other smell except that one. Since she never smelled it before, it has to be a rotting corpse. When his son went missing, he started acting weird"
"He was an outcast" I-sak murmured. "Food in your mouth" Sun-hee said plainly. I-sak ignored her and continued on talking as she swallowed the rest of the chicken. "I heard he got bullied all the time"
"Mm-hm, it sucks. I feel really bad for Mr. Lee" On-jo frowned. "Remember last week when he just suddenly left class?" Sun-hee added more fuel to the fire.
"He's never done that before"
"They say he was a genius" I-sak huffed "Lot's of geniuses go crazy". They all continued on eating as Sun-hee took a sip of her drink.
"Well, at least you wont have to worry about going crazy" Cheong-san said catching Sun-hee off guard. The liquid sprayed away from her mouth, onto Cheong-san who was, unfortunately, in front of her.
"What the hell, Sun-hee" the soaked guy exclaimed. "I'm so sorry" the girl said in between her laughs, joining Gyeong-su.
He eventually got over it and joined them in laughing "Hey, are you talking trash?" On-jo frowned at her friends.
"It's getting late i should probably go home, you guy's know how mom is" Sun-hee said as she grabbed her bag, bidding goodbye to her friends.
By the time she arrived home it was already 11 o'clock. She took out the keys from her bag and opened the gate. "I'm home!" she yelled to anybody who was there. "In the kitchen!" she heard the familiar voice of her mother say. She dropped her bag and went running.
She gave her mom a hug and a kiss on the cheek, as she went to the fridge to get a drink. "Why are you home so early? I told you, you could stay till 12 to hang out with your friends" her mother said
"Well I want to sleep early so i don't get late for school tomorrow" Sun-hee explained as she downed the cup of water in her hands. "I'm gonna go to bed now, love you" the girl said as she ran upstairs ready for another boring day of school tomorrow.
