Chapter 5

(m/r) POV

Matt smiles at me and we stand together, I get a little nervous. I smirk and grab his hand putting it on my chest. "Do you want to..... have a...." Matt looks at me a little shocked but I continue. "..race?" He sighs at what I say and I laugh a little at his reaction. "What did you think I was going to say. Let's have fun and race to just play around.

But we don't have to if you don't want to. We can do something else if you would like?" He smiles at what I say and shakes his head. "Let's get changed then, do you want to go to my apartment? I don't think you'd like changing on top of a roof." I nod my head and grab my bag then his his hand rushing to his apartment. I change in his room and he changes on the opposite side.

Once I got into it I turn and see he's ready and we start going. We make a plan that whoever can go to the subway to our bar. We start the race and I run to the opposite direction going to a building. I see him and he runs towards the same building as me. I laugh and keep running keeping my pace for now. I make all the energy go through my arms and legs getting faster. I run and jump off a building turning to see him.

Matt waves at me and get to the top of a building while I watch. I run to the fire exit stairs and climb then run to a shoot that goes to the trash. I land on my feet and keep running seeing a few birds sitting. I keep running and see Matt who is still going. I run to him and we laugh at each other hearts beating with excitement. "Ready to lose!?" I scream and he smirks and makes me stop grabbing me.

He throws me in the air knowing I'll catch myself but I just smile. When I land on my feet I stand back up and jump high and far. I run seeing the bar near and start running a little faster. I jump and see Matt with me and we land on the roof at the same time. We laugh and smile hearing the thumps we made when landing on the roof. "Hey wanna get a drink after getting dressed into something?" Matt smiles at me and grabs my hand as we go back to his house.

"Sure (m/r) that'll be nice." I smile as he unlocks his apartment door. We change back into our usual clothes and stretch a little from our day. I turn to Matt and see he's dressed in his clothes turning to me. "Do you wanna go now?" I ask in case he had any second thoughts just in case. "Yeah let's go" I walk with him as he grabs his things.

We get to the place using a taxi and sat in a comfortable silence. We walk in happily and smile at each other sitting down in the stools. "Can we have a bottle?" She grabs us a bottle and two cups for us both. "So what to drink about?" He smiles at me very confidently and pours some into our cups. "To our friendship and our achievements."

I smile and we tap each other's cups then drink. After that it was a blur, but in a good way not bad.... I think. I wake up with a headache I guess I got a hangover. I never get those though we probably drank o lot then. I smile remembering the memory of his smiles and our laughter. I turn and see Matt next to me asleep, I turn back around and fall asleep again. I wake up a few seconds later opening my eyes to fast.

I sit up tiredly and try to get up to walk away from him. Matt grabs my arm and pulls me closer to him smiling. I can't tell if he's asleep or awake so I let him be. I try to go back to sleep but can't when I hear his alarm go off. His arm swing at it and he finally hit it turning it off. He grunts trying to wake up and scratches his face. Matt holds me closer and I can feel his breathe on my ear.

"I know your awake (m/r) are you going to get up." I try to keep my heart steady as I hear his voice and feel him. "You wouldn't let go of me so I just let you hold me." He sits up and smiles a little walking away from me. I smile even if this was embarrassing I still was with Matt. But then as I start to take the warm blanket off me I realize I'm only in boxers and his shirt. The shirt was big on me since I'm a little shorter from Matt.
