"Next is stop XX. Please press the red button if you want to alight."

Hyemi's conscience is snapped back to reality due to the voice from the bus speaker. Still, she carefully puts the polaroid resting in her hold into her purse before getting up.

"Thank you for the ride, ma'am." She bows at the bus driver auntie who gives off a warm smile in return.

Hopping off the bus, Hyemi finds herself in front of a café which is across her stop. Outside the place, there are two men who are busily hanging some LED letters and strings of bub lights while the other two are painting the wall a color of baby blue. Look like they are working on final touches of the cafe's exterior decoration.

There stands a white board attached to the glass front door reads in cursive.

"It's me. Sorry for the late response," embarrassment laces in Hyemi's voice as she apologizes to the waiter. The girl scolds herself internally for slacking off again.

She sees the guy playfully winks when her eyes avert upwards to meet him properly. His super tall height, cute smile and pair of big round eyes make her wonder how comes someone has such cozy and fresh physical features.

"If you say so, coming back for our Grand Opening day would be a great apology, miss."
