Charli's POV

" I should just do It! It won't be scary, it will be fine, I should just send it!" I said passing back and forth in Dixie's room. "You like Andy, don't you?" she said, having a small smirk on her face. Only my family knew I liked girls, and that I am not even sure that I like boys. I mean yeah, i "dated" chase but only for the fans. I told him how I really felt and he was fine, I think after the breakup I think he still has feelings for me.

I decided not to DM Andy because I got scared that my secret would be out. The part that scares me is that I am going to get canceled for being anything other than straight and I a going to get way more hate than what I usually do.

Andy's POV

I decided to DM Charli because she was getting some homophobic comments from the whole tiktokroom post.

Charli, I am sorry. I should have never tagged you In the video and if I didn't you would not be getting all of this homophobic stuff. I am surprised I am sending this to you because you're not going to see it. I am sorry if I ruined anything between you and chase. I am sorry, again.

After making a TikTok and taking a little nap, my phone went off. I looked at it and my jaw fell. Charli sent me a DM back. I waited a little bit before I opened it to not seem creepy.

It is ok, really. You are fine, I understand. It is not your fault that people are mean. You did not ruin anything between me and chase because we are just friends, we only "dated" because of the fans. But thank you, that was very sweet of you. And I meant it when I said you are pretty.

For the next few days, we were DMing every day.

A month goes by and Charli and I have been talking and facetiming for a while. Today we decided to facetime, " what is your favorite color?" Charli asked me. "Easy, teal." I showed her one wall that was teal. The rest were white. "What's yours?" I asked her. "I can't say one because it will hurt the rest of their feelings!" We both laughed. "You're so cute." I said with no hesitation. We both stared at each other for a long, terrifying minute. My heart was racing. I finally said it. " I am bi..." I said at the same time that she said, " I like girls." We both started to laugh. " I have to go but I will text you," I say and we hang up. I go to text the group chat but Charli already has.

I put my phone down and decided to take a nap. When I wake up I realize it is the next day. I have a text from Charli saying that she hopes I had a good night and nap. I decided to call her.

"Sorry I fell asleep last night at 4," I said. " It's ok. So are you going to tell her?" she asked me. I hesitated. I was scared. Today was the day I was going to come out to my parents. My dad and brother are already suspicious because, honestly, I don't know. All I know is that they always ask me. My mom, on the other hand, is super homophobic. She is my mom so can't just tell her.

"Yes, but I am scared," I say to her with a nervous face. "It's going to be fine. You know what, hang up and go tell them right now." "Ugh, ok! Bye.." I say as I hang up. I was so scared I almost passed out, I think it is called an anxiety attack. I start to open the door to my room and I feel like my legs are pencils. I started to walk but my legs and hands, well my whole body was shaky.
