"Who. are. you?" I grit out to the man who dared to touch me. He looks shocked for a second and says, "you dont know me? Well then, let me introduce myself" bitch you think I would know you? I mean look at yourself.

"I am Diego Lopez, the one and only heir to the Mexican mafia," he says with a proud smirk. As I take in what he said, disgust forms my face.

"Diego Lopez huh?" I ask and he nods in response. So, this son of a bitch could be the person who gave the orders to attack us. "And what's your business with me?" I try asking calmly so I don't pull out a gun and kill this asshole right now.

"Oh, I thought I'd meet with the infamous DEMISE," he says still smirking. Okay, what the hell is wrong with this piece of shit, does he think this is some sorta movie where I'm gonna swoon over him when he smirks? The only ones who gonna be swooning here, are the monkeys.

I smile a fake smile at him "well you've met me, now if excuse me-'' I get cut off by him "no-no, wait please, I insist. We could chat for a while, I swear I'm entertaining'' He says with a wink.

Ew.

Suddenly some romantic shit song starts playing, what the hell? "Care for a dance?" He asks. I'd rather die, but since I'm here I have to dance at least once with someone, I guess he isn't that bad if he keeps his hands to himself and his mouth shut.

I walk away. I hear a frustrated sigh come from my mouth.

"Well? Aren't you coming?" I ask while rolling my eyes. He smirks proudly, takes my hands and we start to dance along with the other couples on the dance floor. I could feel his hand brush against my back purposely, ugh.

"Behave or else it won't be just your fingers that are cut off" I reply with a smile and venomously enough that he takes it back in an instant.

Luca pov

"What the hell?!" I groan inwardly looking at the spilled wine in my coat, "you should watch where you're going!" I grit out to the servant. "I-I-I'm sorry s-sir! P-please don't k-kill m-me" he stutters out of fear.

I roll my eyes "relax, I'm not gonna kill you for accidentally spilling wine on me" I say trying to get it off. I see him still standing there. "What are you waiting for?" I ask looking at him directly in his eyes. "Huh? Uhh- n-nothing s-sir" and with that, he runs away.

I was still trying to get it out. Ugh. Why the fuck haven't my sister and her 'boyfriend' announced 'the huge thing' they have to say?!

"It won't work, it's better to just take off the coat" a feminine voice, who sounds like someone I know. I turn around and look at her, where have I seen her before? I can't tell because her huge hat was covering her face.

"What's your business with me, miss..?" I ask. "I'm Natalia Lopez" she introduces, Lopez? That's the Mexican family name, then that means she is-

"I'm, not blood related to the Lopez, I was taken into their care after my mother kicked me out for a new stupid family," she says with anger present in her voice. I just nod

I take my coat in my hands and open up some buttons in my white shirt. "Well it's a pleasure, miss Lopez," I say bored. As I start walking away from her, she says "oh look! That very famous assassin is dancing with Diego, I mean is she an assassin? Everyone knows that Diego my brother is a playboy even though I hate to say it, is she that dumb to dance with him?" She says with a slight chuckle.

I turn around to the dance floor at the mention of 'the very famous assassin' there she was wearing that red dress that gorgeously fitted her and his hands touching her bareback. That fucker! Who the HELL does he think he is? I could feel my blood boil seeing a smile on her face while she talks to him.

"Would you like to dance?" I ask the lady in black, she looks shocked but then says "it would be my pleasure" I take her to the dance floor and we dance for quite some time but my eyes were glued on the woman in red.

When it was finally time to switch partners I make sure I was in position. "Looks like we are going to switch partners," she says with her feminine voice, I nod.

1..2..3 and we switch, I let go of her hand and hold the Soft hands of my next partner.

"Oh, it's you," she says with her perfectly pitched voice.
