"Oh, it's you," she says with her perfectly pitched voice.

"You must be stupid to go dance with one of the most perverted men, or are you just that desperate?" I tell her angrily. She looks at me offended by what I just said.

It may be none of my business but it bothers me.

"And who the fuck do you think you are? You may be the strongest person in the mafia but so am I so stay the fuck out of my way before I take a deal from one of your enemies to assassinate your ass, you know I can get a hell lot of money for that" she snaps at me which makes me angrier

I scoff. "If you try to kill me you'll not only have the Italian mafia behind your back but all the other mafias that are my allies but let's say you try and you're one step away from killing me but That's not possible do you know why? because ill kill you before you even make you're first move" she looks at me in disbelief.

Her hands grab the collar of my shirt and she whispers in my ear. "Mr. Alessandro you have no fucking idea what I am capable of, a piece of advice, you already have many enemies DONT make me one of them, cause if I want you dead then you will be dead."

"We'll see about that miss Stawarski" I reply calmly as she fumes.

I see Xavier come into the middle of the room with a microphone.

"HELLO EVERYONE I HOPE YOU'RE HAVING A GREAT TIME SO FAR! THE REASON WHY I AND MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLFRIEND CALLED YOU ALL FOR THIS EVENT WAS FOR AN ANNOUNCEMENT THAT WE'VE BEEN WANTING TO TELL YOU ALL." Xavier spoke with a bright smile on his face.

They've made us wait long enough for the 'big' news they have to say.

Xavier gives the mic to my sister who looks like she's going to cry. My eyebrows furrow when she wipes a few tears and Xavier comforts her.

"ABOUT A WEEK AGO I STARTED FEELING A BIT SICK AND I LOOKED PALE, TURNS OUT I HAD MORNING SICKNESS." my sister starts. Everyone had confusion written on their faces as well as mine. What's this got to do with the big announcement?

"AND I STARTED VOMITING AND XAVIER WAS VERY WORRIED SO WE WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND" they stop talking and put the mic in the middle of both of them and with big smiles and teary eyes on their faces they shout.

"WERE GOING TO BE PARENTS!"

My eyes widen at the words that just came out of their mouths. I turn around to find my family. And there was my mom and dad with tears in their eyes and my siblings looking just as shocked as I am.

"YOU'RE WHAT?!?" All of my siblings including me shout.

Everyone was clapping for them. The woman in red pulls me close to her and whispers "congratulations Mr. Alessandro on becoming an uncle" and she walks away.

She's pregnant? "Holy mother of god! You're pregnant? My sister, my oldest sister she's pregnant? That's what you're saying? How?" Alek shouts.

"How do you think dumbass the same way mother got Pregnant with your ass" Kira answers sassily.

"Is this a joke? What do you mean you're pregnant?" I ask confused.

"Oh, my beautiful daughter's going to be a mother!" Mama says with tears in her eyes. "Kira, how is this possible? I thought the doctor said that it's almost impossible for you to be pregnant" I ask.

"Yeah but she said almost, not exactly impossible" she replies with a smile.

Kira had once held a family meeting saying that she wanted to be a mother and she said that she wanted the father to be Xavier though they had only dated for a few months. All of us were happy that she wanted to be a mother but we had also thought that maybe it was too early, but we didn't have much of a choice because it's her body and she's going to be the one delivering the baby so it's her choice. After a week or so Kira came into the house wrapped in Xavier's arms and dry tears on her face and new ones rolling down her cheek, even Xavier looked devastated and Xavier's always happy. Kira looked like she was crying the whole way here from the doctor's appointment. That's when she told us that the doctor had said that she has a very low, and almost impossible chance of getting pregnant, she was devastated for months but she kept a smile on her face. Im proud of her for being so strong.

A smile plays on my lips as I watch mom and dad hug her.

—————-TIME SKIP(after the party)———————-

It's past midnight and I have to stay up doing paperwork, how and when in the hell did I sign up for this?

Knock knock! "Come in"

"Hey Luca, just wanted to check up on you, it's already very late so you should go to bed soon," she says while taking a seat on the sofa. "Yeah sis I know, ill go to bed after a while" I reply.

After some minutes of her just sitting there and me continuing my annoying paperwork she speaks up.

"Luca?" She says with a little nervousness present. "Yeah?" I reply with my eyes still glued to paperwork.

"Are you not happy that im going to be a mother? Are you not happy to be an uncle to my baby?" I immediately lift my head to look at her. Is that the way she felt?

"I know you loved Anastasia a lot and I remember you promising her that if she were to have a baby then you would be the happiest uncle alive and I know I may never be able to compare to her but I hope you'll be just as happy being an uncle to my baby," she says with a small smile on her face.

I look her in the face with astonishment, how and when in the world did she come up with that theory?

"Are you kidding me? Do you think I'm not happy? You made me an uncle! Do you really think I'm gonna just ignore my sister's child? I'm gonna spoil your baby till the end of my time, I'll spoil her so much I'm gonna become her favorite uncle! Also, who in the world said I'm comparing you to Anastasia? You are my sister and so was she, and just because I don't show it doesn't mean that I don't love every member of my family equally. Okay?!"

My eyes widen at what I just said.

Well shit.

I did not just say all of that aloud, she is so gonna tease me till the day I die. Couldn't I have said it in a more brooding way?!

She looks at me with wide eyes representing that she's very surprised. I continue to stare at her until a small smile shows itself on her face slowly turning into a huge grin.

"Did my brother just show emotion? My brother? The one who is the merciless king of the mafia?" She asks with the huge grin still there.

"Tell anyone and I mean ANYONE and I'll tell your sister that you ate the last of the lava cake" her eyes widen at what I said. "DONT YOU DARE! I LITERALLY SOMEHOW MANAGED TO CONVINCE HER THAT I DIENT EAT IT!" I smirk at her victoriously.

We both look at each other and burst into laughter.

Once we were all calmed down Kira speaks up.

"Well I guess I ought to go, I don't wanna keep you away from your paperwork" I nod.

She walks up to the door to leave but then turns around and says.

"Thanks, brother, for what you said. I needed to hear that." I smile at her "I meant every word of it. Oh and by the way, remember NOT. A. WORD." she chuckles.

"Yeah yeah I know Mr. soft. Don't worry you're secret's safe with me" she says with a wink and shuts the door on her way out.

FINALLY!! After a lot of procrastinating I finally finished this chapter!!
