How could one nation, how different people could come together under one purpose. You see, I was a Pessimist. I didn't believe that God had guided my actions or that he even was with me. This was never true.
I never realised this, until a young girl of these "Savages" had showed me how I wasn't looking for him in the right light. Because, I hadn't realised how I needed him.
How he would pave
not only my way,
but Her family and the whole country's way. This started three years ago...

I stood at the edge of the railing, overlooking the Harbour. The Cape of South Africa stood looming over me, seeing Table mountain made me choke on my dread.
Governor Redvers Buller had sent a letter, hoping for a teacher to be sent in from England. You see, there's a massive war here. A war between Britain and the Kitchen Dutch, but when a 'Boer' is surrendered, they having a massive problem with language. Well, since a top graduate from Harvard. I was the one chosen, and I have been dreading this since my voyage.
This will be fantastic, they said.
It'll look good on your application, they said. What lies...As the boat docked, my luggage was dumped in the arms of the coachman.
I gave him a sympathetic look, helping him with the bags. "Good day, sir. Where do you want to be?" He asked me with a renewed smile on his face. "To the Hotel Laura please." He nodded and I climbed onto the carriage, which suprised him."You don't have to sit with me, you can -"
"No need, I prefer the fresh air and besides,I would like to see the city before my departure Tommorow."
The coachman nodded and clicked to his horses. "Say, where you going if I may ask?"I looked to my front, the cobble streets busy with people and merchants. "I am going Ladysmith, I am going to teach English there." I looked over, seeing the Coachman having a nervous look on his face.
I was about to ask him what's bothering him until he asked the question that I would found Ironic years later. "Who exactly are you going to teach, sir?"
I answer him truthfully, all arrogant." I am going to teach the Kitchen Dutch English, so that the English can speak better with them." He only grunted and sighed, "You'll swallow your words sir, the Dutch is Stubborn and they don't like change."
I only laughed, telling him that he was surely mistaken. But he only shook his head, wishing me good luck.
