As Hanna strutted into the cafeteria, all eyes were fixed on her. Soft whispering and faces of awe came from every direction. But she didn't care. "I got us lunch..." Lucas stammered, a large grin spread across his face. Hanna smiled sweetly. "Thank you." As she took the plastic tray, her hands lingered on his.
Lucas, still clearly nervous, pulled a chair out for her to sit down before taking a seat himself. She edged the chair close enough so their legs touched, Lucas turning a tomato red. It was only then that Hanna realised that the entire cafeteria was still in silence. She rolled her eyes. "Let's give them something to stare about." She gazed at Lucas willingly.
. "Are-are you sure?" Lucas fiddled with the bow tie clipped to his tweed jumper. Hanna nodded. Lucas gently eased towards her, gripping her small hands, and tenderly kissed her lips. The cafeteria erupted into further mutterings. "Give it a rest guys!" Spencer rolled her eyes and grinned mischievously at the couple. Hanna giggled and rested her head on Lucas' shoulders, which nearly buckled. He intertwined his hand around hers. "So, where's Emily? Or should I even ask..." A twinge of hurt flickered on Spencer's face.
"Yup. She's with..." Her voice lingered on his name longingly. "Toby."
"Spence, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to-" Hanna began before stopping abruptly. Caleb glared at the couple from the opposing side of the room. Lucas turned and gently kissed Hanna's forehead. "Ignore him." Her fists unclenched and she resumed her conversation with Spencer.
"She was... I never thought she was bisexual-" as Hanna gazed out of the window, she spotted the very couple. Toby had Emily pressed against the wall, smugly making out with her. Emily had her hands in his soft brown hair. Her heart continued to flutter. Toby took the pain away. He was so sweet, so protective, so romantic, and he was all hers. He wove his hands tightly around her waist, and the world around her ceased to exist. Spencer would be fine. Surely she'd find someone else; her long list of ex lovers grew nearly every day. And she wasn't hesitant to get cosy with Wren, even when Toby still cared for her so deeply. Spencer didn't deserve him. But she, Emily Fields, did.
Hanna's eyes flickered away from the scene. She was disgusted. Emily had been so tactless about the situation that she felt like smacking her in the face. "...let's go.. Eat outside." Hanna clambered for a justifiable excuse to get Spencer away before she saw them too. "I need to study at the library-" "Trust me. That can wait until tomorrow. Tell you what? Let's cut school.. Let's have a girls night out. Shopping, then takeaway then as many chick flicks as we like. Deal?" Spencer looked willing, but her facial expression changed.
. "I don't think I've EVER bunked off.. EVER." "Even more of a reason to." Hanna pursed her lips. "Come on.." She cocked her head to one side. "You know you want to." Spencer finally broke into a smile. "Fine. Let's go."
----Aria sat frigidly on Noel's lap. The room around her was dark and littered with empty beer cans. He slithered his hands around her waist and she tried to succumb an uncomfortable shiver. He smirked. "So you guys have been official for how long now?" Aria stuttered. "A while..." Noel said smugly.
"Time doesn't matter when I'm with this chick." She tried her best to smile instead of scowling.
"So why have you bought her here?" The room was dimly lit - and so was the man in the mask, asking so many stupid questions. "I want to know where Alison Dilarentis is." Aria gulped. The noisy cabin descended into silence.
"You know Ally, huh?" Noel looked as if he wanted to say something, but stayed silent. His hands began to lower from her waist, but he grabbed them and firmly replaced them. "You do love playing hard to get, don't you?" Aria gritted her teeth. It would be over soon. He was just trying to get her to give herself away. "So?" Her diaries claim you were an ex lover of hers." The masked man's eyes glinted.
"One of many. But what makes you think I know where she is?" There was a pause.
"I know, that your breakup wasn't on her terms. She really loved you. And trusted you. And I also know that she had to leave, after planning her entire life with you."
The man ripped off his mask. He certainly was good looking. Just ally's type. A mop of dark, chestnut hair and deep brown eyes, shaded by large long eyelashes. Square jaw bone, complimenting a light dusting of stubble on his olive complexion. "I might tell. If I get a kiss.." Aria wasn't hesitant at all. She wrapped her hands around his neck and plunged her lips onto his. Her heart began to flutter. He reminded her of Ezra. She didn't let go, and neither did he... Noel cleared his throat, a face of thunder. Aria couldn't figure out why. She'd made it clear that they were only an act. "I think that's enough now. You said you wanted to kiss her. Not shove your tongue down her throat. " His fists were clenched. Aria glanced at the man. He had the same expression as hers. "Well first of all, my name is Damon. Damon Salvatore. And that. Was one of the best," he chuckled" 'kisses' I've ever had."
