Chapter 4

I laid  down On my bed and sighed, what have I gotten myself into

I wake up around 7 am my phone is buzzing like crazy it's Kuro "ugh" I answered the phone

I mumbled  "hello"
"Hey I'm here" in a rushed tone
"What?" I sit up in an attempt to wake up
"I'm here? I'm the main lobby of the apartment"

"Ugh it's.. what time is it? You know what it doesn't matter its to early we agreed to meet up at the same time we did yesterday"

"Come on get up and ready I really need to talk to you in person"
"Fine." I quickly hang up and get ready I put on a tank top crop top and sweatpants And walk to the main lobby and see kuro at a table with a booth seat wearing a grey hoodie

I sat infront him
"Ok what's so fucking important at 7 in the morning"

"Just wanted to talk to you" he gives a 'charming' smile he's definitely up to something, or maybe not

" I don't believe that's the reason but fine go ahead ask a question then ill ask you a question"

He rolled his eyes as he gave a chuckle "I'm very curious what all can your quirk do?"

"I explained this, it's jut red fire like how endeavors quirk is just really hot fire"

"Ok ok cool" everything was quiet for a while I started looking at my phone, people chatting at other areas of the room till kuro decided to break the silence between us with a sigh "why did you do it" he glared at me that sent chills down my spine as I put my phone down

"Did what?" I asked with a confused look. I knew very well what he was talking about
"Don't play dumb. why did you burn hawks's agency."

"Shh..." I could feel a few eyes on us "quiet about that" I said in a low voice

He lowered his voice as well "why? "Oh you're confessing?" He said happily and confused

I skip over the question "you don't know the kind of people that live here so you?" I said annoyed

"Poor people"
I take a deep breath in and out, and keep my voice a whisper "yes and no, people who won't want a hero or detective here so do me a solid and keep quiet about interrogating people "

"Hmm fine.. so you're admitting it?"
I sighed I'm getting pretty annoyed he knows what I did somehow

"Why would I do that? Why would I burn hawks's agency? I have nothing to gain from it" I say still at a whisper
Kuros face is surprisingly calm but his eye keep looking around sure he can keep his face calm but his eyes gives his nerve away it's a give away for anyone

"Aww the ghost hero scared" I teased
"Tch. No of course not , your just making things difficult for me" he crossed his arms

"Mhm anyway who's your favorite hero?"
"Hey stay focused. You confessing or not"
"Fine I'll stay focused.. but you know if questioning me doesn't work you can go question someone els"
