Izzy couldn't sleep and if she were being totally honest with herself, she wanted to be in that hospital bed with Nate.

Izzy's pov.

After we dropped off Nate at the hospital I headed home and try to get some sleep. I can't though I worried about him and the whole bathroom situation. I know damn well that it was fucking Cassie. We'll find out soon.
I closed my eyes not even a couple of seconds later I felt my phone vibrate.
It was a message from Nate.
Nate:
Thank you for taking care of me. I love you always and forever.
I didn't respond and I finally fell asleep.

After school, I went over to Cassie's house, and not even an hour later Mr. Jacobs showed up asking questions about that night.
"Cassie I asked you a question," Cal says
"She didn't see anything," Lexi says
"I'm not asking you. I'm asking her" cal says
"I already told Mrs. Jacobs I didn't see anything," Cassie says
"I know we just don't believe you," Cal says
"I'm telling the truth," Cassie says
"Look Cassie I'm more than happy to get the chief of police bill greenwood involved. Old family friend, maybe he should have this conversation with you. With everyone you know. Get everyone's cell phones. Text histories. Find out what exactly happened. Should we do instead?" Cal says
Cassie looks at me.
"Don't look at her. Look at me." Cal says
"It was fezco," Cassie says
Fuck did she just do that she's a fucking idiot. Now I'm fucked if he confronts fez it's over for me and Nate.
"Thank you that's all I wanted to hear. Oh and Isabelle Nate will like to see you" cal says
"Yes, Mr. Jacobs I be over later today," I say
I notice Cassie row her eyes at me. She knows that Nate will always choose me.
With that being over Mr. Jacobs left.
Me cassie, Lexi we go back to their room.
"Why would you say that?" Lexi asks
"What? What was I supposed to do?" Cassie yells
"Not say anything," Lexi says
"You heard him! He was gonna call the police." Cassie says
"No he wasn't," Lexi says
"He was bluffing and you fell for it cause you're a fucking idiot," I say
"Why do you even care?" She yells
"I have my reasons okay fuck" I say
"Because you just ruined someone's life," Lexi says
"Fezco almost killed Nate! That was his decision." Cassie says
"Why the hell do you care what happens to Nate. Uh, he's my fucking boyfriend so learn your place." I say and leave their house.

Cassie's pov.

After our talk with cal about the whole fezco beating up Nate situation.
Izzy called me an idiot and told me to learn my place.
Nate called and picked me up so we could see each other. I guess he likes me if he sees me behind Izzy's back.
I ran over to his truck and kissed him.
We started driving around not even a couple of minutes in Izzy was already calling.
Nate ignore it and for not even a couple of seconds, she called me. I didn't answer.
"Where are we going?" I asked
Nate didn't respond he just kept driving to where ever he was taking us.
"What are you thinking about," I ask since he is quiet.
"We're almost there," he says
"I have never been over here before," I say
He just stays quiet once again
We arrived at a construction site that is owned by Cal Jacobs he puts the windows down I turn my body to face him.
"look cass, uh I like you." He says
I just smile
"I wish things could be different. I just think what happened between us was a mistake, and we never should have done what we did"
"Yeah but"
"It was my fault. I shouldn't have, uh"
"It was my fault too," I say
"I just thought... I ju... I just didn't think that I'd get so, um" he says
Stays quiet for a couple of seconds
"It doesn't matter. It is what it is. We can't see each other and we can never, ever speak about this. I'm so sorry, I'm... I'm so fucking sorry" Nate says
I get out of the truck with tears in my eyes I ran off.
I hear him call out my name.
"Cass"
"Cassie"
He finds me in one of the unfinished homes on the second floor he starts kissing me and he gets to my lower half.
"You don't know how much power you have."
He continues
"How are you ever gonna look Izzy in the eye again?"
