Ch-5, Latios Reborns

No one POV,

Latias woke up, looking around for
Ash. When she saw he was missing, she started to panic. She was rushing
into multiple rooms, trying to find him, until she ran into Mew.

"Hey Latias, what's up?", she asked.

"Do you know where Ash is?", Latias
asked her. She nodded, but motioned
for her to go in her room. Latias was
frankly, confused by what happened.
As she walked in, Mew started asking
questions to her.

"Why are you so worried about Ash,
huh?", she asked. Latias blushed furiously while trying to think up a
reason. Unfortunately, Mew caught on
to her, "Ooo, so someone has a crush other than me, I see. When are you gonna tell him?", she said.

"Mew!", Latias shouted, "Shut up,
someone could hear us talking", Latias continued. Mew just giggled which turned into hysterical laughter. Latias then had to just shut her mouth with her claws.

"Look, we both know he wouldn't want me. Besides, I thought he was dense", Latias said, like she was about to cry.

"Seriously? Latias you are an idiot. He
never showed interest in anyone because he loves you only more than anything in this world, plus you did
kiss him in Bianca's disguise", Mew
replied, putting emphasis in the last
part. At the first Latias become happy that Ash cares for her but hearing at the last made her blush madly.

"Why do you care. Wait, don't say that you l-?", she asked but got cut off.

"Hey, I have no interest in Ash at all. I take Ash as my...", Mew said but not fully.

"Take my what?", Latias asked again but in panic.

"As my son", Mew finished. Latias dumbly stared at Mew, what she said. She take Ash as her son?

".........WHAT!!!", Latias yelled in shock.

"It's true. I love him as parents not in any romantic way", Mew said sadly.

"So you should tell him", Latias said.

"But first I have to ask Arceus about it then", Mew said.

"Then you should", Latias said. Mew looked at Latias, "Listen father likes you a lot and he can do anything for you so he will allow it", Latias said.

"You are right, thanks Latias", Mew thanked her, "But don't forget to make him yours", Mew teased her making her blush again.

"Mew!", Latias shouted while Mew giggled. Latias then walked out of the room.

"I heard you two talking", someone said from behind. Latias was shocked, behind her was her father, Arceus.

Arceus POV,

"Oh, father! So umm... what will you do with the group of poachers?", Latias said, trying to find an excuse not to talk.

"They've been taken care of. Now, we
need to talk", I replied calmly at the first but sternly at the last. She
looks down thinking something wrong did she did as we fly into my room.

"Why is it so difficult? I just want to
come up and just say it, yet I still...
just... can't", she says. Before I can
speak, she says, "Let me guess. It isn't
healthy to just keep a human crush, and I should move on from him. Maybe speak with another Latios", I become wide eyed. Just for me she is saying about leaving her long time crush.

"Never!", I shouted. She looked at me confused, "Darling, I fully support you", I tell her. She's now looking
at me, kind of wide-eyed, "I know how it feels to have a crush but moving on from him would very difficult. I have felt what you are feeling now".
